“Great Paella”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

Great Paella and people - My wife and I went to the small village where Paella originated from and had some fantastic food. Food took about an hour to prepare - which was enough time to relax and enjoy the people.

“Lovely!”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

If you like eating and want something authentic This is a great little town. Lots and lots of choice with restaurants, really friendly people and don't miss a 4/5 euro boat trip around the lake it was very therapeutic.

“A Village of Restaurants”
Reviewed April 16, 2012

Pretty, often crowded with coach trips of seniors on arranged luncheons. Narrow canals and boats. Herons everywhere.

“Marvellous”
Reviewed April 12, 2012

I always come here when i go to Valencia. A small town, only to be reached through one way, with lots of nice restaurants and small streets to stroll around in. Near the water different boats are headed to the Albufeira lake which takes about 45 min. but a splendid trip it is. Lots of waterlife and birds around you. They used to fish a lot for eels in this lake but due to alges they dont seem to eat them any longer.

“A Place to Eat Paella”
Reviewed March 17, 2012

El Palmar is a small town that is filled with restaurants and is very popular with the people of Valencia, who go there to eat paella. There are many good restaurants and the main menu is the paella. They probably have the widest variety of paellas in Spain.
