Even though you'll find plenty of hotels on this beach strip, Hotel Neptuno stands out from the rest owing to its great location! It is right at the start of the beach which makes it easily accessible to the tram stop and the marine boats area with plenty of restaurants.
The hotel has been decorated in style, from the reception lobby to the elevators. Not many hotels in Europe bother to adopt this avant-garde look for this price.
The rooms are well-equipped, you can even browse the net on the TV. The breakfast is as Spanish as it is International. The hosts and hostesses are polite and friendly. Their Trident bar is a perfect spot on the beach with its psychedelic lights in the night and tasteful lounge music.
We really wish we had spent a day or two longer.

I was a little worried about booking this hotel after reading the previous reviews, but I have to say we had a really enjoyable stay at the Hotel Neptuno. The front desk receptionists not only spoke English, but were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our request for a late check out. The hotel breakfast was great, with a very friendly staff. A special mention to Carlos, our waiter when we ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner Sunday evening. If you're looking for a beach front hotel, with modern decor and a friendly atmosphere, this would be a good choice.

Stayed here for a short break in April, hotel really easy to get to from the airport, take the number 5 metro line and change train at Maritim Serreria then walk across the platform and get the metro to Neptu, approx 5 Euros. The hotel is clean and modern, but in the room bits were looking a bit tired. Mini bar and air con, but no tea or coffee making facilities. Nice selection of toiletries, plus a plastic shoe horn which seemed a bit strange.

Staff were helpful when asking about where to go etc so no complaints, didn’t eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. There are quite a few bars and restaurants along the sea front only a couple of minuets from hotel but as it was early in the season only a few were open and if you like paella then this was the main thing on all the menus.

Lovely roof top terrace with Jacuzzi overlooking the beach. On the lower floor of the hotel is a reasonably equipped gym, steam room and another Jacuzzi. It took about 20 minutes to get into the centre of Valencia via the metro.

Only disappointment was that the room didn’t have a balcony but that was my fault for not checking before we went

We stayed at the Neptuno for 5days in Easter holiday.
I have read the reviews and had mixed views going.
Well the hotel looked like a clean little block of flats but was the best in the street.
The manager and reception staff were not polite and I felt like they needed training.
There is no English on the tv. Not even news 24.
The bar staff made up for the rest of the staffs rudeness. Great set of men working there.
The roof top has fabulous views and is a sun trap. With hot tubes.
The room was of good size and very clean. We had a sea view. It was very worth while.
The beach is fab. Goes on for miles and never over crowed.
There is a roof top open air club at the front of the club and can see why some people have wrote bad things about noise. But to be honest we never heard anything but the club was closed and we had a sea view room. But could see the points that people have pointed out.
It is a 20/25 minute walk to the main attractions in valencia. And obviously 10 metres from the beach and port.
We loved it as a couple and will be going back with the kids aged 10/11 very soon.

Room Tip: Go for a sea view. Quieter and fabulous view. Not of the car park.

Hotel is lovely, very modern and stylish. I read previous reviews stating the rooms were small but thought it was more than big enough. There is a combined TV / computer although no English channels but very handy for the internet.
The door to the bathroom is glass but it’s frosted so you can’t see through. The bath is amazing! Hydrotherapy with bubbles which was lovely to relax in.

The bar overlooks the beach and is reasonably priced. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant. It’s very nice although not a British fry up, much more continental – think individual dishes of scrambled egg and figs wrapped in bacon.

The hotel is on the corner of the beach front and there is a row of about 15 restaurants and bars next to it. The restaurant next door is supposed to be very good but it was fully booked when we tried. We went to Azahar twice and the food was good. There is Morroccon style bar 2 doors from Azahar which is really relaxed and the cocktails are great!

We took the Metro from the airport to the hotel and it’s very cheap and easy. We bought a card with 10 trips on which did us for the whole break (used about 7). The Green line which starts at the airport runs right to the hotel although you should be aware the stop name has changed from Neptuno to Marina Rejal (can’t mistake it as it’s the final stop). When the metro reaches Maritin Serreira you get off and a tram is waiting on the platform next to you, this will take you the final few stops.

Definitely recommend, we much preferred staying by the beach rather than in the centre of town.
