I stayed here a while back during the summertime when fiance and I were driving around Spain. The hotel we had originally stayed at in Valencia no longer had availability when we decided to stay another 3nights so we picked Hotel Neptuno after finding it on the internet. As we had been staying in the CBD we decided to stay by the seaside and this hotel was definitely in a top location by the beach. There was this really cool nightclub bar on a rooftop just across the road which we went to and ejoyed however I am sure for any other guests staying at hotel who weren't up for staying out all hours enjoying thriving nightlife in Valencia staying in such close proximity to an open air club would be a downer but if you're up for some partying then this is an awesome spot.

I found reception to b a little on the clinical side but as I am a very friendly person it could just be my perception. The room was comfortable and clean but not quite what I was expecting in regards to size and the bathroom felt tiny. Other than that it had a lovely aspect and comfortable bed. The upside to having a small room is that you don't wanna spend too much time loungin around in it so I didn't actualy spend that much time in hotel. It was in such a great location though that we spent most of our time at the beach, at the seaside markets and many restaurants and bars. Forgot there was actually a rooftop pool and amenities as so many things to do in the area so if you manage your expectations and want a place that's by the ocean and walking distance to beach and many funky haunts then this could be the place for you. If you want somewhere to get peace and quiet and plnning on spending a lot of time in your room then perhaps not the right place for yo.

A great location and beautifully designed interior. Rooms are good, but the AC was set to a minimum temperature of 23 degrees making it rather hot and stuffy at night. Brilliant and varied breakfast. Reception was sadly slow and seemed chaotic...it took rather too long to register, despite pre-booking and having all the relevant booking confirmations - I became somewhat concerned when the receptionist suggested that I should be sharing with a german guest called Patrick!

THE hotel you want to book during F1 Race, right by the track...the hotel is new and very chic. Rooms are surpassing by far, most of the hotel rooms i've seen in my traveling life...Bathrobes, etc. everything is standard, no extras required....And the restaurant of the hotel is exquisite! Breakfast and dinner are spectacular, not to mention tapas hours!!!
Price is a bit on the upscale, but it'S worth every penny!...Oh and for the parking, this is very pricy for Valencia....

If you want a hotel on the beach this is a great one! Expensive area to stay in (restaurants are plentiful but can be pricey) but that is for the luxury of walking out your room and being on the ocean. Very artsy boutique hotel. Parking is in an underground lot, at 19 euros per night. Rooftop solarium and jacuzzi are nice, but close at 8pm so much too early to enjoy the night stars from! Breakfast buffet was a little pricey bit was of excellent value. Highly recommend this hotel, wish we would have stayed here longer!
Highly recommend Valencia over Barcelona as a whole!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean and comfortable hotel.
Nice modern design and lovely rooftop terrace.
Excellent location for the beach and surrounding restaurants and nightlife.
Easy access to the city by taxi or public transport.
Only ate in the hotel once but it was really good.
I would definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel as part of our flight and then read the revues.Hmm thought I never mind we are only there for 3 days.Well what a surprise, its easy to get to from the airport by metro on the green line straight from the airport to the hotel with the only change being at the point where it goes from underground to overground
.The hotel staff are very friendly,we were in room 117 which looked into the inside of the hotel so no view but perfect, absolutely no noise from people or discos, would ask for that room again.
The bedroom was clean and had aircon, which worked, and free Wifi, the bathroom had a jaccusi bath and shower, dressing gown n slippers infact everything you could need.
The hotel has a rooftop jaccusi and sunbeds although we only went up once as the beach is right opposite the hotel and what a beautiful beach, its huge and very clean, you do have to pay for the sunbeds and shade but as the weather is hot most of the year then they were worth paying for.
As we were meeting friends at the ferry port this hotel was ideal as it is a 15min walk from the port, however it is out of the town and its 11 euros in a taxi or a bus ride into Valencia but there are plenty of restaurants along the strip outside the hotel and plenty of cafes for breakfast within a few minutes walk from the hotel.
We did not eat at the hotel so I cant comment on the food but it was always full so seemed to be okay.
Its not a place for people who want loud music and a busy nightlife but for a carefree relaxing holiday its perfect and we will definately be going back to this hotel.

We stayed for one night (mid-week and early season) at Hotel Neptuno and one night was enough. When we arrived we had been allocated a smoking room - the stench of cigarette smoke was simply disgusting so we went back down to reception and were offered a 20 euro upgrade to a non-smoking room overlooking the beach. The view was nice enough but the bed was extremely uncomfortable (both mattress and pillows felt as if they had been made out of hard sand!). At around midnight loud music started being played from one of the local bars which continued until around 4am, during which time we could hear every word the DJ shouted through his microphone and every beat of every drum. The paper thin walls in the hotel then allowed us to hear some of the revellers return to their rooms around 4.30 - 5am to continue the party… When we checked out we complained and the hotel staff (to their credit) offered to waive the upgrade charge on our room. They apologised for the inconvenience which was much appreciated. They also commented that the usual night club (next door) was not yet open for the season so the noise may have been from a one off event. However, from our experience unless you happen to be a chain smoking nightclubber this is not a hotel we would recommend and 4 stars seems rather optimistic!

We very much regret what happened, because the quality of sleep is very appreciated in a hotel. Frankly we were surprised by this criticism this season because is still summer clubs are not open . We hope you can get another idea of our hotel in other occasion. We'd love to have you as guests.
