For leisure and visiting valencia is a good hotel. The single big inconvenient could be distance from the metro Ayora (1 km) wich connect Airport from hotel, but taxi or bus can correct this. From airport to metro station is about 30 minutes (direct line 5). In Valencia using Valenbisi (stations 200 m) is a very good and cheap option to connect with Ciudad Vela (historic sites) and port and beaches. Oceanografic, City of Arts and Turia gardens are very close. Area is modern with big boulevards, secure and with shopping centre (Aqua, Corte Ingles, Carrefour, and other) and a lot of restaurants are in are. Through beach and city center by byke there are 15-20 minutes on special tracks or public gardens, so this is very exciting. Hotel has no special features, rooms are not very big but confortable and clean. Higher level rooms are better. There is no so much traffic in area. For people who want to enjoy night life, late evening restuarants or beeing closer for city center is not a proper option.

Perfect location to spend a few days at the City of Arts and Sciences as it is in short walking distance. Lufthansa Miles and More members get free breakfast, mini-bar and wifi under a promotion good until end of May 2012. Just show your card at check-in! Very friendly and helpful staff all around. Clean rooms. Small pool.

We stayed there for Fallas 2012 for 4 nights. The location of the hotel is very good, but quite far from the metro station (don't be misguided by others who tell it's only 5 minutes walking - in reality it's at least). However, the hotel is located very close to CAC (cac.es) and there are buses that connect you to the city center (e.g. bus line 19).

We stayed in a room with a view, and we got it in the price. If you have to pay for it, skip it, it's not worth it. The cabled internet is free in the whole hotel, no matter which room you stay in (just call the reception for the password). If you don't have your own ethernet cable, they will provide you with one.

The rooms are quite small (no space to open two suitcases at a time), but the bathrooms are spacious and very decent. We haven't tried any other services offered by the hotel because we celebrated the Fallas almost all the time.

One complaint - we took lots of pictures and our camera needed recharging the batteries. When left in the room and plugged in, the cleaning staff always removed the card from the slot that activities the electricity in the room, even though we left a clear message not to do that. That should not be a standard in a 4 star hotel - you rent a room, you pay for it, you can use electricity whenever you want.

Second thing is that the AC could be only set for heating, which was okay because it got quite cold, but some people may have prefer to have set on cooling also. Probably it depends on the season.

We visited Valencia specifically to see the Fallas, a spectacular annual event, with giant models based on many themes, scattered about the city, which are burned on the last night of the festival. At the same time, there are processions of people from various parishes, the ladies dressed beautifully in brocade skirts, with elaborate hairstyles, carrying carnations which are used to decorate the robes of a huge statue of the Virgin.
The Tryp hotel was on a bus route to the city centre (cars are not allowed there during Fallas). It was also a few minutes walk from the Metro and close to the Oceanarium, the Science Museum and the City of Arts, all architecturally very striking.
The rooms were large and very comfortable, with mini-bar, TV, Internet connections, full bathroom, etc. Wi-fi was available in the snack bar and the lounge.
The food served in both the restaurant and snack bar was excellent.
My only criticism is no tea & coffee facilities available in the rooms. Large hotel groups must realise that they have international clients and supply things like kettles in rooms. It makes all the difference when that facility is available.
I have only given "Sleep Quality 3 stars, because of the fireworks going off all night during the Fallas festival. Normally, it would get at least 4 stars.

I spent a weekend in this hotel, and was a nice experience, is very near of the Oceanographic and the art museum and science (CAC).

Is located a block away from the "Passeig de l'Albereda", a great avenue with a lot of places for to eat/drink/shop, and with many stops of the public transportation. Also, the department store "Corte Ingles" is in front, so, you will have a lot of options for to shop in a short walk distance.

Room and bathroom was great, complete, clean and with enough space for 2 people, u will love the elevator, it has greats views of the CAC.

The decoration is very modern, and the breakfast is ok, without many options, I think they can improve it, including more options of cereals, hot food and breads.

I can't rate this hotel with 5 points, because the parking, is very expensive!!!! excesive price for a day, if u'll have a car, is a better option search for a parking in the streets near the hotel.

Don't forget to plan a visit to the beaches for dinner in spring/summer, I recommended eat a "Red Rice" in the Arena Beaches (beside the Paella, of course!), meanwhile you enjoy ocean views....Keep in mind in Spain, the islands are the better places for beaches, like Canarias, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza...
