I really like AC Hotels. I stayed before in one of your hotels, in Las Palmas (Gran Canary). It is a very clean and nice hotel, the staff was great. Food was very good. It has a fitness and sauna center. Is very well connected with the transportation. Outside the hotel is a bus station ( no.1 and 19) and you can go easily to the centre of the city and the metro line 5 ( for those who come by plane, this is a direct line to the airport). The hotel is near the City of Art and Science where you can see a very challenging museum, oceanographic, an IMAX cinema and you can go to the opera. Also, near the hotel is an El Corte Ingles and a mall ( Aqua), for those who like shopping. It's a little noisy in the rooms that are located near the street ( Avenida de Francia), but it's not disturbing. It didn't bother me.
The free minibar is also a great thing. A small annoyance I felt during our staying in Valencia ( not in the hotel) regarding the fact that almost nobody speaks english ( in shops or in the market).

The Hotel has a very good room and a friendly staff, but it's not been possible to completely spot off the the refresh system (the air conditioned) of the room or properly set it at the desired temperature.
The restaurant is in the hall; it would be better a specific room.

The AC is located near the Ciudad de Artes y Ciencias in a charmless neighbourhood, a bit further away than most of the other hotels in the zone (Confortel Aqua, Melia, and Barceló, e.g., are all better located). It's the typical AC-fare - fairly spacious, business-style, and with amenities like free mini bar that make the AC stand out from the other Spanish chains - but the staff at this one let it down. Rude and incompetent at check-in - it took ten minutes to convince the lady at check-in that the credit card is still valid until the end of the month of expiry, upon which no apology was offered - and no better at check-out where the request of adding fiscal details to the invoice was met with a complaint. The breakfast buffet is good, but again the staff was less than friendly. We managed to sit for an hour and make three requests for coffee, with none ever appearing. Oh, and don't use the hotel car park - there's plenty of free parking in the area.

We've stayed at several AC Hotels in the past throughout Spain and wrote positive reviews. However, there was a few things that bothered us from this location. They offer free wifi internet in the lobby area. With two different laptops in hand, neither one of us were able to access the internet. Staff was not willing or able to fix the problem. The second thing that bothered me which I should have mentioned when I stayed last year at their hotel in Cordoba was that in the winter, there is no way to shut off the heat in the rooms. Not that heat is a bad thing but the rooms become extremely stuffy and hot. The only way to rectify this is open the window which is what we were advised last year in Cordoba. However, the location of this hotel in Valencia is on a somewhat busy street and the noise level is loud. We asked for another room but they said they were booked. Yet, the hotel seemed deserted the whole time we were there. Our impression was that they did not want to be bothered. Other than my two issues, rooms were very clean and standard as what expects from AC. Free minibar. No safe in room. Underground parking is available for a charge but they have a disclaimer that they are not responsible if your car gets broken into. Would stay here again if the price is right.

great hotel for arts and sciences able to get to hotel via metro from airport ( inside terminal building ) line 5 took approx 25 mins and easy 10 min walk from station.

hotel is approx 5\10 min walk from city of arts and sciences and approx 15 walk to beach / harbour for f1 .

all rooms have free mini bar ( soft drinks water and a couple of beers which was restocked daily) plus reasonable room service prices ( 24hrs) breakfast was great plus there was hot food made to order 14 euro's each but kids eat free and there was a special offer of half price on weekends so 7 euros for myself and son wasn't bad.

bathroom has great power shower and nice deep bath. room had tv but usual cnn and bloomberg channels only in english.

nice room with wood floors and comfortable beds great choice.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in early February. Overall the hotel is very clean, modern and offers a good level of service to its guests. We arrived late (close to midnight) after a long drive up the coast from Alicante airport. The reception staff were very helpful and offered to keep the bar open and also advised us on places still serving food locally. Very good of them to do so, although such hospitality was unnecesary as we just wanted to sleep! Our room on the 6th floor was spacious and modern. All rooms have a complimentary minibar which was restocked daily. This is a superb and surprising feature of the hotel and something that I've never experienced before (except when travelling all inclusive). My only complaint regarding the room was that it was far too hot at night. Changing the termostat didn't seem to do anything. Breakfast was very good with plenty of hot and cold choices and again the service was efficient and attentive. The hotel is aimed mainly towards business travellers & is in a new area of the city, just a 5 minute walk from the stunning City of Arts & Sciences. Be warned, the historic centre where the majority of attractions are, is a fair walk (40-50 mins) albeit through a very attractive and pleasant park. The number 19 bus takes you from right outside the hotel into the centre for just over a euro and there is also a Metro station 10 mins walk away. Taxi fare from the historic centre to the hotel is 8-9 euros. Overall an excellent hotel, but might choose somewhere closer to the centre if I visited Valencia again.

The earlier reviews say it all. This is a nice modern hotel outside the old town but with good transport links by bus into the city. I thought I’d just add a bit of practical information. The 10 trip ticket on the bus is a bargain at just over €6 but you can’t buy it from the driver, for that, you need a tobacconist. There’s one near the hotel. Head towards El Corte Ingles and turn right up the side street before the main door. It’s about 30 metres up on the right. Ask for a bonobus card.
