This was a hotel that I had wanted to stay at for some time and when the opportunity came up for a visit to Valencia for a special birthday the decision to book was easy. The reality easily exceeded the expectation and the level of sevice, attention to detail along with the quality of the accommodation made this an excellent trip.

Fantastic hotel. Very stylish and interesting architecture and wonderful staff. The location is perfect for the old town. Really interesting to see how the building was renovated from the old Palace into the stunning modern hotel it is now.

This property is a stunning example of how to adapt an existing palace into a modern hotel. The staff was especially amazing- very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There are artifacts all around, each with a QR code and accompanying digital content to explain. You can also have a

Dear Ian H,

Thank you very much for taking the time for a short evaluation of your stay with us. We really appreciate your words for our helpful staff and we are glad to read that you found our QR guide so useful.
There is a little history to every room and to many other pieces held in the palace. They are so unique that you can usually find them only in museums but we are more than happy to share them with our guests.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Best regards,

We loved the location, the rooms, the staff, the proximity to many things and could abandon our car.
Staff was always helpful and went out of their way: reception, porters, barmen...
We shall be back for a longer stay next year.

My Wife and I stayed at this lovely Hotel for 4 nights. The building is beautiful and steeped in a great deal of history. We stayed in the Terrace Room (number 10) which was wonderful, and we had breakfast on our Terrace most days. The staff could not be more helpful (and even brought up a sun parasol to our room when we asked for it, it was far too hot to sit on the Terrace without it). We ordered some Cava for our arrival, and some complementary patisserie was provided, which were delicious. Each night there was a turn down service, providing sweets and the weather forecast for the next day, which was a very nice touch. The outside bar area was closed for a few days for replenishment works whilst we were there, but this did not really effect us (and the painting works were suspended whilst we had breakfast on our Terrace, which was very much appreciated). The only real issue we had, was that on the last night room 11 (the Suite, which has an interconnecting door with room 10) decided to have a party until 3am (with people coming and going all night, loud music and around 6-8 people shouting to each other). To the Hotel staff's credit, they did call room 11, twice, to ask that they turn the music off and keep their voices down, but little notice was taken. This was of course not the Hotel's fault, but I cannot imagine this would be tolerated in a UK 5* Hotel. It gives a Hotel a bad name to tolerate that sort of behaviour, and attracts the wrong clientele. Such a shame and a bad end to a lovely trip.
