“Interesting structure a short walk from the Cathedral”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

Interesting building on UNESCO World Heritage list (see http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/782) referred to as a "masterpiece of late Gothic architecture." It's also an attractive photo op. and only a short walk to the cathedral. If you have a telephoto lens you can get pictures of various gargoyles some traditional some risque.

“Not to be missed!”
Reviewed July 21, 2014

The Lonja de la Seda is a late Valencian Gothic style civil building in Valencia, built between 1482 and 1548.
The UNESCO considered it as a World Heritage Site in 1996 since "the site is of outstanding universal value as it is a wholly exceptional example of a secular building in late Gothic style, which dramatically illustrates the power and wealth of one of the great Mediterranean mercantile cities.
Although I live here in Valencia, I visit La Lonja once a year. it is a beautiful place in deed.
The price is about 2€ per person, but Sundays is free.
during the week you can also visit El Mercado Central, another beautifiul building sited right in front of La Lonja where you can buy all kinds of foods.
Excellent for friends, families, solo, even couples.

“Impressive building”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

This gothic building is very impressive, I would say number one attraction in Valencia. The entrance ticket is only 2 euros.

“Nice”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

A nice place to visit. I guess it's better to go there when there's not too many people around to enjoy its beauty. Small but charming.
