Owner description: DISCOVER THE CIUTAT DE LES ARTS I LES CIÈNCIES. Science, nature and art in a complex devoted to scientific and cultural dissemination in Europe, placed in Valencia. The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia is a unique complex devoted to scientific and cultural dissemination which is made up of five main elements: the Hemisfèric (IMAX cinema and digital projections), the Umbracle (a landscaped vantage point and car park), the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum (an innovative centre of interactive science), the Oceanográfico (the largest aquarium in Europe with over 500 marine species) and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (which takes care of the operatic programme). The Ágora gives the complex a multifunctional space.

“Great Aquarium”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

The Oceanographic was great. The Hemispheres was an IMAX movie and just average, the museum was geared towards kids and not a great experience for us. We would have skipped the expense and time for the hemispheres and museum.

“Nice Modern Buildings”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Lots of innovative and creative acthitectural buildings in this part of Valencia. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to visit the musums itself as we ony have the monring at this part which is a waste. Pls allocate at least 3/4 if not full day over at this part.

“Amazing buildings and architecture”

This is a stunning set of modern buildings - varied designs and range ot types and uses. Definitely worth a visit even if you don't got to the Oceanarium or Science Museum.

“The Architecture is unreal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

My advice, is take a full day to go here and get to the art building early as it closes early - I was gutted I didnt get a chance to see it! Its a great way to spend a day! The architecture will blow you away - it's amazing. We went to the science museum. It was great! The superheroe section was amazing and loved letting my inner geek and child out! Lots of great things to try and do! Dont go to Valencia without going!
