Good quality hotel room, clean and large rooms. Wifi was good in the rooms but not working In reception. Reception area smelt of bad plumbing for the 4 days we were there. Staff appeared helpful but didn't really know bus routes or local info. English was limited and it was difficult to get answers from them.

We stay there with our family, we did ask For quitte rooms. We sleep on the 6 floor at the back side, and there was no noise! Great big room, spacious bathroom with a bath. ( they could clean it a little bit better ) lovely breakfast with something For everybody and nespresso coffee and a Jura machine, do really nothing to complain. Check in and out did go fast and the reception is very helpfull. Great italian restaurant just 100 mtr From there outside the hotel left just around the corner. Como in casa, best lasagna ever!!!

This hotel is a great value for money. A good four star hotel.
Rooms are large and clean, hotel staff are helpful, breakfast is good better than in some higher rated hotels (eggs, fresh orange juice, smoked salmon, different pastry's, ...)
Location is great, just in the middle for every important sight (beach, old city and new building).
A lot of restaurants nearby.
You get more than you pay for ... I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

First of all, if you don’t know what are the Falles (or Fallas, in Spanish) learn about it before you visit Valencia, because it is the most important annual event there. If you know the Falles, you may also know that during the festival people explode firecrackers all around, day and night. So, when I arrived in Valencia I thought I wouldn’t be able to sleep during my 3-day stay. However, my husband and I got a comfortable room at Husa Dimar facing the inner yard and it was really great!! Of course we didn’t have the best view (our windows faced other rooms) but the silence we got compensated the lost street view.

Husa Dimar is not very centrally located, but again, during the Falles you may prefer to stay a little away from the city hall and the cathedral. In any case, walking to the city hall to see the Mascletà at 2PM wouldn’t take more than 20 minutes from the hotel. You can also walk (25 minutes) or easily take a bus to the City of Arts and Science. Nearby, there are many buses to Valencia’s beaches too.

But the best thing about Husa Dimar’s location was the Els Castells and La Nit del Foc (the Night of Fire). These are wonderful 15-minutes long fireworks, part of the Falles festival, that begin between 00:30AM and 1:30AM. You can watch them from a bridge which is just a few steps from the hotel. This was awesome!

Room Tip: Do not ask for street view during The Falles. It is not worth it!!!

It is true that during the Fallas, the noise is constant, as we are visited by about one million people.
But so are the Fallas.
Thanks to choose Hotel Dimar for your stay.

Smart modern hotel on an attractive tree lined avenue. Our room was spacious and well equipped and being at the back was very quiet. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Bikes could be hired from the hotel which has easy access to the cycle ways in the Turia Park and it was onlt 10 mins walk to Colon metro station and 25 mins to Oceanographique and th arts and science [park. The breakfast which was included was plentiful, varied and good quality.

My experience at this hotel was a good one. It is an easy walk to the city center and you can catch the bus nearby and head to the beach.
My window view was straight onto the side of an adjacent building. Also, the window opened up onto a roof and it did not feel safe leaving the window open. This was a disappointment as the weather was perfect. I asked for a different room but was refused. If you want to open your window, ask for a room on an upper floor. It will probably be quieter as well.
Pros:
- Very modern spacious rooms (by European standards)
- Comfortable beds
- Good location
- Reasonable rates

Cons:
-None, really. Reception could be a little friendlier but it was fine.

Room Tip: For a quieter experience, ask for a room on a higher floor.

A clean modern hotel with helpful staff who could all speak English. Situated near the wonderful park and less than 10 minutes from the town centre. We arrived in Valencia from the airport and a direct line took us to Colon station, from there the hotel was about an 8 minute walk with bags. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet but had just views of residential blocks.

If you turn left out of the hotel and then left again there is a huge choice of eating places and bars. There are also restaurants and bars across the road from the hotel.
