This amazing collection also covers everything from circus displays and stone age chases to cartoon and movie characters. As befits Spain's neutrality during WW2, soldiers from that era are less present.

I visited this Museum April 25, 2014.. This is a magnificent collection, exhibited in a very original manner and with great educational value both for children and adults.
My most sincere congratulations for a work well done to the Director of the Museum and his staff.

This museum of tin soldiers is one of the true delights of visiting Valencia. The attention to detail, the array of examples, the stunning tableaux all lead to a fascinating afternoon, even if you aren't a true tin soldier fan.

This is a fun place to visit. It has beautiful reenactments of historical battles - Waterloo, Almansa, Alexander vs Darius. It has eclectic corners dedicated to vignettes of ancient history - loved the 'bacchanalian orgy' scene! It has circus, dinosaurs, Tintin, pharaohs, footballers from 19th century, you name it - something for everyone. I especially liked the collection of Spanish civil war figures - easily 80-100 different 'uniforms'. Must have been hard to work out who was on your side at times ... The mini-Franco complete with sunglasses was a refreshing change to the bronze busts over at the Military Museum. Also enjoyed Franco with his fifty motorcycle outriders - must have been a popular guy! Whether you come for an hour or two's peace and quiet, to escape the rain (v.unlucky - hardly ever rains here!), or because you played with these as a child, you are bound to find something fun. Check opening times though as they are a little eccentric too!
