Concha Piquer was a famous singer and actress, one of the best in Spain. She was the master of the copla, a type of Spanish song. She was born in Valencia and went to New York City, where she made her debut at the age of 14. There she appeared with Eddie Cantor, Fred Astaire, and Al Jolson. She later lived in Madrid, where she died. One of her best friends was Evita Peron, because she was also very successful performing in South America. The museum shows many of her costumes, has plenty of photographs of her life, and there is a video about her too.
