We stayed for five nights at the Senator Parque hotel. It's a spotlessly clean hotel that is well maintained. We didn't have any contact with staff beyond checking in and out.
We stayed in room number 607 which overlooked the busy road. The road is noisy but the treble glazing keeps most of the noise out. We didn't hear any noise from our neighbours but we might not have had any!
Air con was a bit sluggish and took a while to cool the room down but still much appreciated!
Refilled mini fridge was great, there's water and pepsi. We didn't have breakfast do can't comment on that.
It's within walking distance to all main sights but allow a good 15/20 minutes to the old town and the same to the science museum.
The first time we walked to the hotel from xativa metro we walked alongside the main train station via carrer d'alacant which is quite a seedy feeling place at night but we subsequently found you can walk to the old town via carrer decastello, across grande via de les germanies, along carrer Cadiz, then turn right at avenue peris y valero - it's a much nicer walk through the Russafa neighbourhood with shops, cafes and bars.
Valencia is a lovely city for a short break, you probably don't need more than two days to see the sights, particularly worth seeing the central market, the largest food market in europe and the amazing, futuristic city of arts and science.

Dear Guest,

We thank you for sharing your experience with us. Please know that it is our aim that you would pass the best days of your holiday with us and for that reason we try to improve our services every day.
As you tell, our rooms are sound proof, so even if the room is on the street side, when you close the window you cannot hear traffic or noise.
We are glad you enjoyed our free minibar, with water and pepsi that we refill every day.
As you write, you can get the city center by bus n 8 or by walking through Ruzafa neighborhood, and get the center in a 15 minutes’ walk. We hope you will come again and we suggest you Fallas festival in March, to enjoy the festival, the sounds, and the lights of Ruzafa streets!
We will stay at your full disposal and hope to find you back in our hotel on any occasion which might occur. In the meantime we will continue working so all of our guests would enjoy their passage in our hotel.

Dear Guest,
First, we would like to say we appreciate your critics through what we have a better understanding of our clients experience on their holiday and which also helps us to continue improving our hotel and its products for our clients.
As you’ve said, our rooms are big, comfortable and clean, with air-condition, safety box, tv and free mini-bar. The hotel is very near the center of the city and there are many bus stops near the hotel, so you can visit different parts of Valencia or a lot of touristic point with no problem.
The free wi-fi is only a basic service, so sometimes it could be a little slow, but in every case we have also a cheap hi-speed wi-fi service.
We will take account your impressions/ remarks and we will work on improving the points You brought out so that on Your next visit You would find everything to you satisfaction.

Made online reservation and paid for it in advance. When we got there and showed them the reservation printout the manager ( I have his name but I decided not to disclose) told us it was cancelled. We showed him the paid credit card receipt and confirmation papers but the man kept saying "Sorry, it is canceled. The only way is to pay now to get another room". Which meant that we had to pay again for something we have already paid. Thank God I have arranged a phone that will work in all European countries before we left the USA. I have called the online reservation company (Yeego). They have confirmed that that it was not cancelled I went back to the manager to tell him that and maybe let someone talk to the Yeego people. They disregarded all my efforts and no longer paid any attention to us (especially the manager pretending to be busy). Finally, I called Yeego again and they agreed to call the hotel directly. To cut it short, when they made the phone call to hotel it was all settled and our reservation appeared and we were given the key to our reserved room. No apologies were given. Just beware, in case they are trying to make this into a standard business practice.
The room was nice size with a view of the big roundabout. It was clean and comfortable. Although the hotel crew will tell you that you have to pay for parking. This is not true. You will be able to find street parking if you have a car but be aware of the sings. To get to the city center you need to walk about 20-25 minutes.

Dear Guest,
First of all I would like to thank you for your comment. It is the best way for us to improve the quality of our services, to know your perception of our hotel and what is the most important aspects to you.
I apologize for your inconveniences at the check-in. Of course it is not our business practice to make our clients paying twice for their room, as we consider unethical to do that. When a reservation is not hereby confirmed we ask for the payment of the first night until we solve the inconveniences, and in case they are solved we always return the money paid for more.
The rooms of the hotel are modern and spacious, and are fully equipped with flat tv, free use safe box, minibar with non alcoholic drinks, free set of coffee and tea, and welcome amenities in the bathroom.
The hotel is placed in the well-known Ruzafa district, a calm zone with all the services close to the city center. It is a 20 minutes nice walk to get there.
We will take account of your remarks, and we will work on improving the points you brought out so that on your next visit you will find everything to your satisfaction.

This hotel is good value and is convenient for visiting and exploring Valencia and the surrounding area. It is less convenient for this city's attractive old quarter which is a 30 min walk to the centre of the old town. Breakfast is extensive but you need to ask for a cooked brekafast and fresh orange juice
Rooms are of a good size and clean. Service generally friendly. The "free internet" is very slow and if you wish to use the internet extensively you will need to pay 6 euro per day to upgrade! Parking is also 15 euro per day extra Complimentary tea, coffee, and soft drinks are a nice touch

Room Tip: Go for the top floor
