Very good, the staff was great, very friendly, the location perfect, near to the main Valencia`s touristic spots, room clean and a fantastic soap, unfortunatelly they don`t have for selling, they should.

I would like a fridge even in the smallest room, but it's not a problem, if you stop at a small period.
The hotel suitable for anyone not for long stops in the city.
Excellent service and staff! Thank you very much

The staff are so friendly and helpful you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Hotel has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. You can walk to the major sites in Valencia or use the metro which is near by.

Very nice hotel located on a main road but we asked for a quiet room and indeed we were given an interior quiet room. The staff spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy as were the common areas of the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the Turia gardens and not far from the modern City of Arts and Science. It’s quite a long walk from the historic centre though. However, there is a metro station close to the hotel if you’d like to use the subway.

The only things that we didn’t like were: the beds are on wheels and you can easily fall from the bed; and the wi-fi was not unlimited. The limit per person per 24 hours was 100MB! Other than that we definitely liked the hotel and recommend it!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, not looking onto the main road.

Good things: Nice room, not very big, but very clean (the maid is changing the beds and towels and toilet stuff every day) and comfortable, very nice staff, free wi-fi, near to the subway (10 minutes walking) and not very far from town center (20 minutes walking). Nice neighboring. Also, you have a supermarket 2 minutes from the hotel. If you have a child, up to 12, accommodation is free including an extra bed as well.
Bad things: during the night, it was a little cold in the room (they explained that this is due to not starting heating system in the end of October) and there was no fridge in the room.

Reviewed August 15, 2012

We stayed two days at this hotel around the 15th of August, so when the city was particularly dead itself.

They welcomed us in a rather cold fashion and the reception service never actually improved a lot.

The room is standard nice (albeit with lots of IKEA furniture, don't get me wrong I've got plenty of IKEA at MY house...), a tad gloomy since it seems that really few rooms (like 2 per floor) actually look on the Avenida, the others face small inner courts so your view is on... other people's windows! The only thing that could be improved is a kind of aged A/C device, hard to find a balance between stuffing and freezing and quite noisy.

Two major issues were transportation and internet. For the latter, we were given one-day accesses that were dramatically slow (128 kbps max bandwidth), while as usual in NH hotels you have to pay more than 15€ per day to get a decent connection. So I stuck to the poor connection and my roaming iPhone. As for transportation, I picked that area because, traveling with the car, it seemed good to reach both the center and the beaches. Yet, their garage was full, so I had to park on the street, and on top of that in Valencia the parking machines give you 2 hours parking allowances max, after which you have to re-do the ticket. Of course the hotel had no voucher nor they offered to put the money for me, so the only option was to actually take the car in the city to visit, but finding a free parking is not a fun ride and garages cost as much as 3 euros per hour... so... not a good pick if you have a car.

Last note, about the service: we had a prepaid deal of three nights, but since we had to change our travel arrangements I asked them before arrival whether the booking could be reduced to two, and of course it was not possible. That's okay. But then at the hotel I was met with a series of polite refusals when I asked whether since I paid for one night more I could get some credit/discount for a future stay in a NH Hotel, or even if I could get a discount on the breakfast. Of course all this was "not possible". I found this particularly discomforting, for many hotels although never willing to give you back the money if you change a pre-paid, they sometimes make up for it by offering you things that have virtually no cost for them but make you feel better, so it's a win-win strategy...

We stayed in this hotel for one night and found it ok. Our room was clean. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. A bit weird to see the complaints about Internet here as it was free (I asked for it at the reception and they gave me a password for wifi and didn't charge anything). Neighborhood is not as great as central part of the city but the transport connections are pretty good. Metro is walking distance (10 min) and a few bus routes next to the hotel. We didn't buy breakfast in the hotel and instead had pastry and coffee in a little caffe opposite it :)
