i spent one night in this hotel on a business trip. while the quality of the rooms, bed, bathroom etc are all reasonable, there was one really big minus in this hotel: you can hear noise from coming everywhere. furniture screeching on the wooden floors, doors banging, echoes in the corridors of people talking, loud noises from bathrooms. there's definitely something wrong with the acoustics in this hotel, which interferes with a good night's sleep. too bad, but for this reason i cannot recommend this hotel. it's also quite far from the center, but quite close to the airport.

Room tip: not sure what to recommend, i guess the whole hotel is quite noisy.

Beautiful trip whit my friends, very nice clean city with many museums to visit, recommended to visit the cities of art truly magnificent, the hotel is at the city center near the port of Valencia and most museums accessible by public transport, from the airport by metro in half an hour to reach the city center.

There's not a lot wrong with the NH Valencia Center, but I wouldn't return and would find it difficult to recommend.

Firstly the good bits - it was very reasonably priced at 80E a night, breakfast was good, and staff friendly. We had connected rooms which shared a front door and hallway, but had their own doors as well - great for families. A nice little pool on the roof, with great views over the city.

The 'bar' was a huge disappointment. Cafeteria style seating which isn't particularly comfortable, and you had to phone someone every time you wanted a drink.

I wasn't quite as happy with the location as some of the other reviewers. The area around the bus station is very industrial looking, and not particularly pleasant to walk through at night (the other end of the street is much nicer). The Old City is walkable, but not close enough to pop in to for dinner in the evening. There is an American and Italian restaurant next to the shopping centre, but there isn't a huge selection of restaurants in the local area that you can wander around until something takes your fancy.
However the park is just across the road and is very pleasant for a stroll.

I didn't come away unhappy with my stay, but next time I'd forgo the pool, and stay somewhere in the old city.

This my first experience with the NH Hotel chain. Having read some of the reviews about this one in Valencia I had some concern but decided to take a chance. I’m glad I did. The hotel was spotless, our room was comfortable and large enough for two people with lots of luggage. The two single beds were very comfortable with crisp, clean linens and a great choice of pillows. Towels were thick and absorbent and the shampoo, gel and body lotion a good quality. There were plenty of glasses and a stocked mini-bar which was on the pricey side. Lighting was good throughout the heavy doors and windows made the room soundproof, especially since the side of the hotel we were on overlooked the busy bus terminal. The small rooftop pool and gym, along with the outside seating area, were a nice feature and adequate for our two day stay. The complimentary green apples were a nice touch, although I wondered why they weren’t oranges given that we were in the orange capital.
We did not partake of the buffet breakfast so can’t comment on the food or service. Front desk staff were friendly and quick with the check-in and local information. Wi-fi in our room worked well so we didn’t have to go to the common areas to connect. It also worked on the rooftop lounge. There are English TV channels to catch up on world events.
The hotel is located across the park/bridge from the Old Town and is a bit of a walking distance to the many sights and attractions. However, there is a large shopping mall within the next block. The area is lacking restaurants (besides several Japanese bistros) so if you want to eat out, do so before returning to the hotel for the evening. It is easy to get a taxi, just walk around the corner to the bus terminal where they are lined up. Not all taxis take credit cards so ask first if you don’t have cash. A ride to the JSO train station costs @ 6Euro.
If ever returning to Valencia, I wouldn’t hesitate to revisit this hotel and we will certainly try other NH Hotels throughout our European travels.

Room tip: Take a higher floor to avoid the noise.

HN Valencia Center hotel is a nice hotel conveniently located just outside the old city center and located close to a metro station (Turia) and a big shopping mall called Centro Nuevo with restaurants (Foster's Hollywood, La Tagliatella, fast food restaurants) and El Corte Ingles for all other items. Also several bus stops are nearby as well as the Central Bus Station. The hotel itself offers nice and clean rooms, a very extensive breakfast buffet (included in the bed and breakfast option) and very friendly people to serve you. Although other reviews mention bad WiFi, we did not see this problem as we had excellent signal on the 4th floor. Also the noise problem as reported earlier (noise from the bus station side) is not existing anymore as the windows noise insulation has been improved. The top floor facilities (sauna, swimming pool, bar etc.) are nice and you have a beautiful view over the city. The walking distance to the old city center is between 15 en 25 minutes depending where you go but several bus lines stopping nearby bring you to the downtown area.

Room tip: all rooms are okay but you might choose for a lower floor (the hotel has 11 floors).
