“So so boring”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

After reading the reviews on TA we decided to give it a go, and to be honest the red line was ok, although long gaps of nothing and long stops for people to get on and off and the repetitive trying to sell the dvd I'd do this by foot to be honest. The blue line ain't worth the effort its tediously boring I think just be cheeky get one of the free route maps and take a leisurely walk and the red circuit taking in a tapas bar or two and save the 17 € pp

“A lovely couple of hours”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

Went on the Albufera Bus Turistic, a great couple of hours spent for €17, particularly as there was a stop was within easy reach of hotel. Route takes you through town to L'Albufera where a boat trip on the lake is included and then you return on the bus to a choice of stop off points. Our driver waited until we arrived back which made the whole trip really easy. Hotels have the brochures with info on pick up points and timetables and you can buy your ticket on the bus. Can't see how they make any money on this as there were only 4 of us on this trip (early afternoon). Loved the peace and tranquility of the lake which was a welcome respite from a couple of frenetic city touristy days. There were quite a few different birds to be spotted, if that takes your interest. There are headphones provided on the bus and a barely intelligible but definitely bad English translation of a guide, but to be honest I just enjoyed the relaxing trip out and an opportunity to see a side of the region of Valencia made easily accessible to us non-car tourists. Good value, with helpful and friendly driver and boatman, and all on time-would definitely recommend!

“The best way to see the city”
Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

We used the tourist bus when visiting Valencia recently.

There are two companies that run the same service. Basically red buses and green buses. They both have 2 routes, Historical and maritime and stop at the same stops. The tickets are not interchangeable between companies.

You can use both routes for the one price and interchange between routes at two locations.

The green buses are a euro or two cheaper but I would recommend taking the red buses as there seemed many more of them compared to the green ones. The price we paid was €17 for 24 hours. You can get off and back on at any stop. Each route lasts about 90 minutes if you stay on for the whole circuit.

For €2 more you can extend the validity for and extra 24 hours.

You will be given a map and a set of headphones. Commentary is available in 4 languages.

It's a great way to see the city. I thoroughly recommend it.

“Easy way to see the City”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

We bought the 2 day pass as it was only a couple of euros more and gave us much more time and flexibility. The first circuit (blue route) took us to the port and the red route is more the historic part. The commentary was a bit ropey at times and the first bus we took did not have sliding windows on the open top and we were very hot
