The hotel is very modern looking hotel compare to the ones I been in Europe. The room was clean and good size. It was approximately 15 minutes to the town. The restaurant was amazing – loved the food. I didn’t use the pool there but I did dropped by it and it looked clean .I would definitely stay at SH Valencia Palace Hotel on my next visit to Valencia.

A modern hotel with helpful staff. The room was comfortable, we came back here with pleasure after an eventful day. The Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot dishes, snacks, fruits. During breakfast sounded nice music. We didn't find serious shortcomings in this hotel. Well probably only...it was not so pleasant to swim in the pool because of an excessive smell of chlorine. We could walk to the "city of science and arts". But the sea, unfortunately, far away.

My two daughters, early 20's, recently stayed in this hotel for three nights. One is studying in Valencia and the other went to visit. As a treat I put them up in this hotel. They had to complain about ant infestation in the first room and in the end spent three nights in different rooms, each as bad as the previous one. The hotel staff seemed unconcerned about customers waking up to find ants in their beds! This is surely not what anyone would expect from a five star hotel!

Room Tip: As a family we would not use this hotel again or recommend it to anyone

room was good for our stay - 10 min walk into town, short metro to the beach or bike ride. entrance very nice, staff friendly. there was free sauna which was good. the room was well presented - nice decor, although we were in one of the older rooms- the newer ones looked much fresher and nicer but sadly these were all gone. the room did have a faint smell of sewers which wasnt great, but u got used to this after a minute or two. breakfast was amazing - defo worth the extra few £ when booking online.
having known everything about the hotel, i would still have booked.

This hotel is easily reached from the airport via the metro (station Aragon) and this line also runs down to the sea (station Neptu). The hotel is well located for the city centre.

First impressions are of a melia type hotel - nothing grand but OK. Reception are helpful, efficient and welcoming, Rooms are furnished to a high standard and bright and light - all white and beige, As expected there are bathrobes and bath products are classy..

There is a small covered pool on the roof and a separate sun terrace (towels are available from the spa on the same floor.

Breakfast offers a superb selection of foods with lots of Spanish treats - but it is taken at what appears to be a dismal conference room reached by steep stairs at the rear of the ground floor- the room has zero ambiance.

I asked for a quiet room conscious of traffic noise - I was on the fifth floor which was good until Saturday when there was a wedding - very loud music until two in the morning - but worst the sound of clodhopping feet attempting to dance on the wooden floor above.

There are lots of good bars and restaurants round about - try the Cantina del Turia in the Calle Salamanca for a warm welcome - its tiny but the food is good

Room Tip: some rooms overlook the park

This is a 5* hotel and must be judged by that standard. I really liked the hotel: it is clean, modern, well-designed: it has a cute little pool, a sun-bathing area (too far from the pool), and a spa service. Breakfast is generous and well-presented as a buffet. The main restaurant is superb: I stayed on half-board terms and dinner was great - 3 starters (not a choice but all 3), then a choice of fish or meat, and a dessert. The deal I was on included wine with the meal ( a whole bottle for two) plus water and bread which normally entail extra charges. The chef is seriously good but what would bring me back here (despite my worries - see below) is the maître d' - David M. He is French, he is charming and he knows his job to perfection. It was a pleasure to discuss wine/food/service with him. He is simply brilliant.
The worries: the hotel's wifi system is worse than dreadful. Free wifi was part of my deal: this is good because I would have refused to pay for it. Even with free wifi, because I have a tablet and a laptop for work and my wife has an iPad, we needed THREE authorisations per 24 hours. Even with authorisation and despite having a room close to the centre of the hotel, the signal was so weak that it dropped us every 20/30 minutes. No business man could tolerate this kind of service. Totally beyond belief.
The reception staff were superb: nothing was too much trouble. The bell-boy was a bit above himself, but smiled and got away with it. The hotel is directly on the number 4 bus route which takes you to the old city centre (5 mins) or the port (10 mins) each single trip being 1.5 euros per person. Wonderful.
A final worry. My wife and I were trapped in a malfunctioning lift for 10 minutes. The duty manager apologised perfunctorily: basically, he did not give a damn. He missed a trick by not offerring a token bottle. More seriously, I wonder how good the construction is.
We still liked the place......and loved the restaurant.

Room Tip: Be close to the lifts (i.e. the centre of the hotel). They told me that the wifi was even worse in t...

We stayed here for a week and found the room very comfortable. We booked a standard double room and our bathroom was huge! The bed was firm and a decent size and the sheets were good quality. Decor was nice and modern but we missed having a kettle in the room :( The hotel facilities were nice- clean pool, good gym, sauna and bar.

The hotel was nice and quiet. It was a 20 minute walk from the old city, beach and the arts and science centre but we didn't mind this as ther was plenty to see along the way.

Room Tip: The breakfast was advertised as €16 for a continental breakfast. We did not have this as it seemed e...
