Mario is more than the owner and the cook of this restaurant. He is the soul of the place and will tell you all about what you are eating and how his mum baked the cake you are having for dessert. The service is fast (you have food in the table straight away, at least to nibble until your first course is out) and the salads are fresh and to die for... Ingredients are original and healthy. Mario really looks after the preparation and it's really homemade.
The pasta is all fresh and probably you won't find anything similar in any other Italian restaurant in town (at least, I haven't).
And the price is more than reasonable (8-12 euros per main course). Once I went with some friends and it turned out to be around 15 per head. Last time I was there, it worked out 20 each (salad, main, dessert and coffee) but it's worth every penny.
He has recently refurbished the place and now has a little shop with Italian specialities next door, which is handy even to grab some fresh pasta in case you want to do it yourself at home if you are late after work. Great discovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
