We (two couples) only had two nights in Valencia, so every meal had to count! We were referred to Ana by hotel desk clerk who said it was "not touristy, true Valencian paella." One couple ordered the bacalao to start, which was pretty good. Other couple ordered grilled vegetables, which were almost raw (raw eggplant is not good). Each couple ordered a different paella for two. The paella was served table side with a flourish, but that is where the enjoyment ended. The overwhelming "flavor" of the paella was salt. The rice was cooked to the right stage, the seafood was tender, but the dish was just salty, salty, salty -- no taste of the seafood, no taste of anything else. Very disappointing.

Second time there. The first time it was in March 2011, it was OK. Second time, worst than before.
The bread was clearly coming from the freezer, something very unusual when you go to a restaurant of this supposed level. We ordered Raf Tomato with "ventresca", which was fine, then we ordered one vieira for each of us. Rice with "col and bacalao" for two. No salt in it, no taste either.
No wine, no dessert, one beer and water and as a result +70€, 35€ each.
Too much for what we received. Definitely. I don't mind spending money in a good restaurant, but I like to feel rewarded for my money, and this time I wasn't.

We went with a group of 30 people. The food was very good with great wine. It was a menu with tapas and the best Paëlla that I ever had. And I had a lot of Paëlla's in my life! Of course, it's for people who know something about food :-) The service was super, very friendly!

What can we say we read a book review on the style and vision behind this restuarant - and then asked the hotel - Vinccy Lys if they thought it was good. They said yes.

We went to have the tasting menu in there - the restaurant was busy and swish looking but under stated inside.
Easy to find from hotel - about 5 mins by taxi - 8 euros at most.

30 euro per person tasting menu no.1 which was more seafood.
Thought this would be a sign of quality

The food was beyond terrible -
over cooked over salted - the carpaccio was little and swimming on a sea of salad - the scallops over grilled and tiny -
the squid wasnt squid more like large fried chunks of octopus unless they have giant squid there!

Everything was bland and so poorly done - but we did get a lot of salad - each dish had masses of salad.

The food was oily and the only saving grace was the glass of Rioja i ordered - but they didnt have a hand in making that !

Awful - glossy reviews were beyond the pale.
Would never ever send anyone to this restaurant - a joke of spanish cooking and cooking in general ...

Oh dear
