This is just a nice place, an oasis of green in the middle of the city (even though Valencia is a pretty green city).
If you are into plants and cats you will love the place since it is full of kitties and it is nice to see they are well cared for.
We also liked the huge cactus garden.

Nice, very well maintained. It is so relaxing to spend time walking there. Even if you are not specifically interested in botanic this is a great spot.

Some unusual plants, relaxing wandering around, but only for gardeners.

Pretty gardens, little botanic interest for me, but a nice space to pass an hour or so relaxing.

I suppose you have to get exited about tall, old trees to get the most out of this place, although the bromeloid house (the name of the small greenhouse with pineapple and it's relatives) was also quite a highlight, as was the orchid house. I spent several hours wandering the many paths of the gardens and thoroughly enjoyed everything there is too discover and learn here. There were a number of artists painting at their easels, which made it quite charming. There did not seem to be any guided tour available. After wandering for awhile I tried to ask if an audiotour was available. It turned out there was, but it wasn't easy to explain what I wanted because no one at the desk spoke english. It cost three euros and was an excellent audiotour. For some reason I find these things in Europe usually choose an English speaker who sounds snobby, but this one was really very relaxing and it added a lot to the experience.
