Tasty and varied. Great service and very friendly. Check-in on Foursquare and get a free chupita, although everyone in our party got a free chupita. Fire water was actuaky a lot better than its name

We read the amazing reviews about this place and decided we just had to try it when we were in Valencia for the day. We may have made a mistake by going for the Menu del Dia instead of ordering off the main menu, but the quality of the food should have still been good. There's no doubt that 8.50 euros is amazing value for 3 courses, a glass of wine and a coffee but we've had much better. It didn't start too well when we asked for a glass of rose wine and the waitress came back and said they only had red or white. Unusual, as rose is very popular in Spain and we have never had a problem getting this anywhere in the Valencia region. Anyway we went for a glass of red which was quite nice. For starters one of us had the vegetable soup which was really bland, the other had Huevos a la Flamenca which was eggs with chorizo and peas. It was OK but nothing special. We both had rigatoni with bacon, leek, mushrooms and cream for our main courses, not fancying the other options of lentils or calamari. Again it was OK, but a bit bland. Dessert was panacotta or a chocolate cake with chocolate sauce & brandy. Sounded lovely and we had one of each, but again neither hit the spot and the cake tasted a bit stale. The staff were very friendly and service was good, but overall we just felt the food was a bit bland and we were disappointed with a meal that we'd been really looking forward to.

Living in Valencia, I have been visiting here regularly since it opened around August 2012.
This restaurant has so much charm that I could not recommend it enough. A mix of Spanish and Italian tapas, all at reasonable prices and of an excellent quality, topped off by warm and friendly individual service. The decor is really tasteful and try to get a seat by the window for some people-watching, unless you are in a big group in which case they have great round dining tables with a real homely atmosphere.
Try the Patatas Bravisimas!

I initially booked by phone and spoke to an answer machine. I said that I would phone back, but they phoned me. Good vibes from that. From the moment of entering the restaurant, at nine on a cold Saturday evening in February, the place was buzzing, brilliant vibes. Customers of all ages from kids to pensioners, everyone enjoying themselves. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was great and the jacket potatoe version of patatas bravas was a first for me, really tasty. The bill too was a welcome surprise, amazingly good value for a brilliant experience.

Can not recommend Tinto fino Highly enough. We had a booking on sat night and despite being hrs late they accommodated us and went out of there way to make sure we were having a great time. The food is excellent! We had a range of beautiful tapas finished with a cheese board - all was fabulous! We ate at a few places within the old town and Tinto fino was by far the best.
