“Excellent place with helpful staff.”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Spent couple of days in El Coso del Mar this October.
First of all - staff of hotel is excellent. They are smiling, explaining everything that you need and can resolve any problem. I would definitely come back only for such warm welcome.
Hotel has nice location with wide and clean beach.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is equipped with Jacuzzi. Good minibar and heavy conditioning system.
Parking is free along the street but you can use underground paid parking.
Tram transit is 2-3 minutes away from El Coso, so you can reach center of the city very fast.
Bike rent station is also very near, but prepare to have 10 Euro as a deposit on your credit card.
In total - Great small hotel with very warm welcome.

The hotel has been completely renovated. Everything is brand new. Restaurant has a beautiful view of the beach & ocean. Not all rooms have a good view. This is a very small hotel, so only a limited number of rooms have a view of the beach. The location is excellent, right not the beach. You can walk out of the hotel & stroll down the Paseo Neptun. You are steps away from the ocean.
All the rooms are completely renovated. However, guest should be aware that the majority of the rooms have an interior view, meaning the window does not face the outside, but an interior wall & there is very little natural light. However, if you don't plan on spending much time in the room, this should not bother you because the location FAR OUTWEIGHS the lack of a nice vista.
The food was good. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with many choices. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I was disappointed that they did not have laundry services, but instead referred me to a laundromat several streets away.

Room Tip: If you want natural light, please ask for a room with a window to the outside & not an interior...

The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms were spacious, especially the bathroom which was separated from the shower. Plenty of space.
The breakfast restaurant in the 3rd floor has a wonderful ocean-view.
Personnel was very kind and helpful.
On the negative side the food in the breakfast buffet was not refilled often enough so there were lots of empty plates. Orange juice jar was always empty.

I stayed here a night. Apparently there was a suite on sale with sea view. It met and slightly exceeded expectations. Loved the design and ambience of the hotel. A few things. I thought the large sea view window of the room opens into a terrace. Feels like it should - perhaps it should be a sliding door? The fridge was basic - drinks inside were lukewarm. Breakfast was included in the price which was under 100 euros. Service was mehh. All in all, a good value

Positive:
-Room's modern decoration, specially the bathroom
-Breakfast OK

Negative:
-Room almost without natural light. Had a window but turned to the inside of the building. You always needed to have the lights on
-Very hot bedroom, even with outside temperatures of around 10ºC, you always needed the AC turnned on to cool the room
-Stained and old bed covers
-When they had reservation for lunches, almost all the tables for breakfast were already reserved for lunch and you could only sit at the end of the room in 3 or 4 left tables!
-Staff in general nice but not very professional (except the pleasant lady in the breakfast room)

In general this hotel should be a good option if you want to stay near the beach/port area. It's clearly overpriced because of that.
Otherwise you should have other best price/quality options in the city

This hotel"s location is very nice on the beach and boulevard, the rooms are clean... it is a pity that we had to keep the curtains closed at all time because one side of the room is completely glass and becomes very hot because of the sun.
The breakfast area at the 3th floor is very nice and so is the breakfast!! You can start your day relaxed looking at the sea and beach !!
The free wifi didn't work at all ,while we were there.that was a pity.
Restaurants and nice bars are all in walking distance even the old centre is not far by bus or taxi.
all and all we had a pleasant stay and this hotel gives good value for money.

Room Tip: the rooms at the seaside are probably much nicer, but are a lot more expensive!

I stayed three nights and was very comfortable.
The breakfast is served on the third floor overlooking the beach and offers a spectacular view. The brakfast was good for both hot and cold food.
Dinner is served on the ground floor. The menu was good with a variety of dishes to suit all tastes.
The room was comforatble and quiet.
It was great to be able to park for free outside the hotel and go to other parts of the city by bus or tram.

Room Tip: My room on the second floor (205) was fine though without a view from the window.
