After two days of visiting Barcelona today, we landed in Valencia on Monday and under a terrible storm that seemed that the day of the final judgment had arrived we were looking for where to eat an original Valencian paella. I suppose that because of the climatic situation there were many closed restaurants when suddenly we were struck by this particular restaurant, TARINS, which looked beautiful from the outside. We asked and indeed they told us that they made paellas and invited us to come with us to a table. Letting us advise, we tried a red wine that they had from the house, Juana de Juanes, which was magnificent and we loved it. We ordered some BRAVAS POTATOES that being something so simple I don't understand how they could be so tasty. The BRAVAS POTATOES that we ate on Saturday in Madrid or the ones we ate yesterday in Barcelona were good, but the ones we have eaten here are 10, especially because of the flavor of the aioli that they also brought with a bit of crushed natural tomato to a basket of Hot slices of bread and of which we ordered a second basket because the aioli was so good that we ate them in a few minutes. The saxophone music that played in the background made us forget about the storm that was falling outside the restaurant and when we were going to fill the second glass of wine they brought us the MIXED PAELLA that we had solomonically decided to ask for. I can't find adjectives to describe how tasty the paella was. It is the third time we have spent in Valencia on our vacation and it is THE BEST PAELLA WE HAVE EVER EAT. The prawns were delicious, the tender meat, the rice at its point ..., in addition to the generosity of the quantities, so much that we could not finish eating it and the waiter was very happy to offer us the possibility of putting ourselves to take the rest of paella that we could not finish. The attention of the service was at all times exquisite from the beginning to the end. The waiter was always aware of us filling our glasses several times, explaining every doubt and question we asked him about the food and with a smile and kindness that made the evening even more enjoyable. After asking for the bill he invited us to try a typical liquor called Mistela that was really good, it didn't burn and had a sweet spot although not too much. We were the last customers last night at the restaurant and they made us feel VIP when the waiter said goodbye to the owner of the restaurant and insisted on inviting us to another glass of Mistela. The truth is that THE FOOD DESERVES A 10 AND THE SERVICE AND THE ATTENTION OF THE CAMARERO AND THE OWNER OF THE LOCAL ARE ALSO 10. To my American compatriots and to the rest of people who visit Valencia we recommend without a doubt the obligatory visit of the TARINS RESTAURANT If you want to eat an excellent paella and be treated as VIPS at a very cheap price in the heart of the city. Very grateful and sure we will return when we return to Valencia.
