Description: In Torrevieja, on the Juan Aparicio sea walk, in a quiet, pedestrian place by the mediterranean shore, is situated the Pizzeria Restaurant El Muelle. A group of professionals will be pleased to attend you. Enjoy the most authentic italian and mediterranean foods in the saloons by the sea side. An interesting combination between the classic elegance and the nice Mediterranean views.

Nice food but overpriced. You pay for the seaside location. Good calamari. Been a few times and is quiet nice for a special occasion.

“Dine by the sea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

We have been to El Muelle many times and explored the pasta and pizza menus thoroughly.

The food is consistently good as is the service.

The big attraction for us though is to eat outside overlooking the promenade and the sea because watching passers by between courses is a favourite occupation of ours!

The fact that the restaurant is always full is a good sign that it is well regarded by locals and visitors alike.

PS If you can't manage the whole of your pizza, they will put it in a box for you to take home.

“As an Italian restaurant should be”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

We've dined at El Muelle many times and explored the pizza and past menu thoroughly. Every dish we have had has been well prepared and presented.

A good sign for any restaurant is that it is always full - El Muelle falls into that category being popular with locals as well as visitors to the town.

For us though, the big attraction is being able to eat outside facing the sea. Between courses, you can watch the passers by ( a favourite occupation of ours!).

PS IF you can't manage the whole of a pizza, they will put it in a box for you to take home.

“Argentina Steak !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

We have eaten here several times over the years . Try their Argentinian steak if you want a REAL meal ! It litterally takes up the whole plate , is succulent and delicious . Fish and seafood always very good . Some reviews have said the food is expensive but i've never found it to be the case . Yes its more costly then most restaurants on the prom , but you get fresh instead of pre-packed junk . The only thing that lets El Muelle down in my eyes is its desserts . They are not bad but they are not up to the quality of their starters and mains either . We normally walk down further and get a megga icecream instead .
