“Very nice and less busy beach...reasonably good restaurant too”
Reviewed August 11, 2013 via mobile

Nice beach. The sand is quite fine although a bit grey. You can even sit under a palm tree if you are lucky to get one in case you dont have a parasol. The restaurant on the sea front is very clean but we had lunch there and was nice not too costly. A good size french baguette with tuna and salad for about 3 euros.

“Great evening walk in hot weather”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

The actual beach at Punta Prima is small, but there are rocks so great for rock pooling either side of the beach. As others have said there are several beach bars each with a different offering. If you want late music then the bar on the promontary at the far end, the middle bar is quieter, and the bar nearest the main restaurant offers a mixture. Currently they have Zumba at 8pm, which is fun to watch. The main restaurant is great and offers a more sophisticated area for sitting if that is your bag, always busy but lovely sitting by the med, enjoying a glass or a coffee.

You can walk to La Zenia, or to Torreveija on the other side.

“Punta Prima Joy”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

What a joy this beach area is.You can be sure of a good day out with safe swimming for the younger one's in your group, great walk at any time of the day but later when cooler just fantastic when you can sit at one of the beach bars and watch the sun go down.A mix of old and young and very friendly.Good for keeping fit and been enjoyed by both friends of mine and my daughter and her friends when they have come for a visit.Love the area.

“A lovely beach”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

Nice, relaxing and enjoyable to soak up the sun with a nice glass of Vino Collapso! It is also a nice place to walk your dogs too. There is quite a walk from the beach to any bars and shops though!
