I visited this restaurant with my two young children, and their grandparents. On entering the restaurant without my dad or his wife (regulars at the place) we were shown to our reserved table without so much as a smile, no offer of drinks and no offer to peruse the menu before we were joined by the remainder of our party. The manager/owner was rude and snooty, and my request of a bottle of water seemed to interrupt his swanning around the restaurant. When the grandparents arrived, he warmed somewhat and menus were bought across straight away.
Food was OK but with the menu being structured in such a way that you had to have starters and main from the same section (price band of €25 or €33) rather than being able to mix and match and simply paying accordingly for each dish - which was somewhat limiting. A new chef apparently, though not a patch on what used to be on offer.
Don't bother taking younger children there, they make no concession to accommodate them whatsoever - with no children's menu or smaller sized alternatives for them.
Wouldn't go back!
