The brand new 'Studio' is extremely spacious self contained unit with Super King sized bed, mini-fridge, fast wi-fi and tiled ensuite. Chris and Sonia-Jane are fantastic hosts that are very accomodating and who provide a beautiful continental breakfast, organised the night before. The buses are a 2 minute walk with shops and restaurants only a 10 minute stroll away.

Our little room was tucked away at the back of the house and underneath the main family home. It was a comfortable, clean, bright and modern facility, with all that you'd want - to, wifi, great shower room, kitchenette table and chair, comfortable bed. A very hospitable and welcoming host, Christoph, who also brought us our breakfast tray the night before (it's a DIY breakky) and gave us tips for travel the next day.
Downside? Hardly noticeable, but you do hear the footsteps above as the family begin their day. But not a major issue.
My only suggestions would be for juice to be available and more choices in teas. I only drink herbal, and find that most places have at least one option with all the beverages offered. Also shampoo perhaps, as this is usually available in major places.
Otherwise it's a terrific place and in a great part of Auckland.

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed your stay in the Kohi Studio - which is 30 sqm, so a bit more sizable than a "little room". For even more space and complete privacy, next time try our Seaview Apartment or Garden Suite. Both are separate from the main house. Hope you had a good trip up North. All the best.

we travelled as a family including toddlers - the hosts were very relaxed and not hassled by this eventhough the unit provided high quality facilities! we felt very comfortable. location was great - out of town but right by the nice beaches and restaurants - would have loved to stay for longer

We spend one night in Kohi Beach B&B and our hosts made sure we have everything ready. Delicious breakfast was provided the night before, so we had at when we wanted. The room was very comfortable, sunny side with a great sea view. Lovely area around - Kohi beach just 10 min by foot.
We were very happy to have such an excellent location at the end of our trip in New Zealand!

We stayed two nights at this location, and were very happy with it. The studio apt. we stayed in was very nicely decorated, and looked brand new. Everything was clean and spotless - and we loved the black and white color scheme. it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach, where we had breakfast at the Kohi Beach Cafe - right across from the beach. The owner of the studio, Chris, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The only drawback to this Bed and Breakfast is that there is no breakfast. However, there is a microwave and refrigerator which was very helpful. We would stay here again.

Thanks for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We do offer breakfast however you booked room only. And Kohi Cafe is a great spot, you're so right. So have breakfast with us or down at the beach - that's great choices! See you next time in NZ.
