“Great location and value for money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for 9 days at end of nov 2013. Hotel is great location and we paid 90 euros to upgrade to a seaview room allocated 602 great sized room with massive balcony and view amazing. Room cleaned every day and maid was excellant. Odd sewer smell which happens lot hotels as old system so bought air freshner. Bed did become bit uncomfortable after 9 nights.

Food was tasteful with contiental breakfast same options. Next door us cafe refuel which do breakfasts and snacks and terrace is a suntrap. Evening food was ok...get what pay for and wine cheap and label room on it so drink over a few nights.

10 euro deposit for tv and air con remotes but refunded at end of stay. Beach 2 mins across road and 4 euro sunbed.
Bus leaves off at bottom steps just walk up top steps hotel in front with steps leading diwn to reception. Hotel badly signed as says tapas restaurant but on glass but arriving night hard to see.

Overall hotel is value for money in my opinion staff friendly and areas clean. Great location near dove park with nice walk long poiente beach or thru old town into new town.

Tip winter it can be cold at night we brought our onesies and came in great use.

We booked this hotel in May to access some guests in Benidorm. It was very reasonably priced which we should have realised was a reflection of the quality.
The bedroom was large but sadly lacking in any facilities, hairdryer, sockets and some basic hotel standards. The paint was peeling in a few places and was painted mainly purple with some strange " artwork" on the walls.
Breakfast was self service and very good selection and we simply crossed the street to the beach so great for that.

Room Tip: Overlooking the beach was great but we were next to the lift and the front and it kept me awake most...

Get what you pay for. Don't expect anything amazing as you will be disappointed.
Paid half board for the week, breakfast was good but not too varied. Dinner similar, but tasted quite good. Wouldn't let us take wine we had paid for at dinner up to room though!
On arrival we had a strong smell of bleach in room, soon realised this was to cover up very strong smell of drains/sewage which seemed to linger in bathroom all the time.
Balcony was small (no seats or table) and was facing small apartments directly opposite our room, so no view at all unfortunately. Bin men collected the garbage at night at about 2300 hours along this same street our room faced, so no early night sleeps for us due to the noise! I believe this may be normal in Spain for bin men to come so late for collection though.
We were not offered remote controls at arrival but soon found out by ourselves that you have to go pay a 10 euro deposit for TV/air con remotes. As we went end of November it was quite cold during the nights but our heater did not work. Asked man at reception to send someone to fix it before bedtime, he practically said no! May have been a language barrier or just not caring at all. Had to fix heater ourselves plus fix my friends heater in a different room.
Bed sheets and towels changed daily which was nice. However found other peoples hair under pillow one morning and couldn't believe we had slept near that all night!! I guess we are used to big double beds and we had twin beds which we pushed together so abit uncomfy They did give warm blankets though which was nice.
Last straw for us was over halfway into our weeks stay here. We were woken up in the morning by extremely loud banging and clashing in the room directly above us. This went on at least 20 minutes. It turned out to be moving of gas bottles from the floor above us to the back street by our room. We didn't appreciate being woken from this though! We checked ourselves out early and went to a nearby 4* hotel for the remainder of our holiday.
Reception staff did not seem surprised at all when we went to check out early. They either did not care or just were used to that from guests! Problem seemed to stem from management though as staff were friendly mostly.
All things in consideration if you are on a budget or really don't mind no luxuries then it is a cheap little hotel with a good location, really close to the beach and less than five mins walk into old town.

Hi well I have stayed in lots of hotels, & I found this to be what you paid for, we had a back room 702 so no beach view, half the room was painted white other half black with white dorbs of paint.
Clean towels & hot water everyday beds made everyday, as weather warning was for it to get colder we got given extra blankets not needed (heat wave happened!).
On arriving found one of the 2 lights in room didnt work informed them next day done.
We could smell sewadge on occasions only.
Beds where ok mattrsses could of been plumper.
Food was mostly spanish but there where at least 3 differant choices of food at each meal time, the food was always cooked well.
Lots of elderly spanish some nice some not so. A few brits including us. I found the staff to be helpfull and quite polite most however do not speak english but they tryed so no probs there. My coach trip to airport was at 08 in the morning would mean we would miss breakfast spoke to staff, they did a breakfast pack for the pair of us, mostly continental breakfast but that was ok. Loads of fruit at each sitting.
Drinks very resonable from bar and good measurs. They run a buy bottles of wine they kook after so yoy can have a few glasses at meals or bottled cold water.
I only paid £200 per person incld flights and full board.
For 7 days.we used this hotel as a base to vist places and come back for meals if we wanted we mostly had breakfast and dinner on occasions would miss lunch as was out exploring.
We would definatly stay again the beach is only 200 yds if that.

This is a very basic hotel. My advice would be if you can afford it go to another hotel.
Bad points are the paper thin walls, uncomfortable beds and limited choice of not so good food. Good points are location, ample hot water, great shower and towels changed everyday.

We wouldn't return to this hotel, but for those on a limited budget, then it could be ok.

Room Tip: It costs 10 euro per night extra to upgrade to a room with a sea view. Also the safe is 3 euro per...

I stayed halfboard for 5 days. First room was awful and shutter wouldnt open second room we got was bit brighter but balcony door wouldnt lock sometimes I did complain but door was never fixed then one day I came to room to find cleaner had been in and just left balcony doors open and put shutter down but there was gap where anyone could of git in.the food was awful and cold most nights so we had to eat out everyday . It seems if you complain nothing gets done anyway. The staff were friendly but wherever gets your complaints doesnt show up. Its a brilliant location but needs good overall to its apperance and it could be lovely hotel . I will not be staying there again .
