Run and owned by George with loads of help from Phil. Great wee place for a bite to eat and a drink.Only 1 min from Princessa Hotel.
Dont ask George for an omlette though (private joke!!)

If you are in the area stop in for a drink or toastie, Sunday lunches are very good.
We will be back!

Visted this cafe during May for breakfasts and I have to honestly say that the food was the most deliciouse breakkie I have had in Benidorm. It really is fantastic value. George the owner is just a real friendly guy welcomes you like he is inviting you into his own home and nothing is at all any trouble for him. What is cute about this place is that inside the cafe it is decorated with little witches and it gives a real cosy feel to the pub. I wouldnt argue with his selection of drink to there is something in this cafe/pub that will suit everyone.

This will be our first visit to Benidorm this year, looking forward to visiting the Witches, where we know we will get a very warm welcome and wonderful home cooked food at a great price. We would strongly advise any visitors to Benidorm to search out this Bistro. There are hundreds of eating houses to choose from, but make sure this one is top of your list. P/J.

As this website is based upon opinions it is therefore questionable what makes somewhere the 'best' as we will all have differing expectations depending on the circumstances. After reading reviews on here we decided to give this place a shot...good, home cooked food offering excellent value for money can be difficult to find in a place like Benidorm so we duly caught a taxi to this bistro. As seasoned travellers we enjoy the Spanish culture of eating out late and we arrived dead on 9pm. Only to be greeted with 'sorry, finish at 9'. This was obviously our fault as we should have called ahead to check but it might be worth being mindful of this if you like to eat late too.
Undeterred, the following lunchtime we decided to give it another go. On this occasion the sun was shining and the bistro was largely empty, save for a couple sitting outside, and later some ex pats entering the bar area. We selected the three course meal for E5.50. I selected garlic bread and my companion chose the spicy beef and tomato soup. This was served in a large traditional soup bowl and she commented that it was very tasty. We also had some bread with alioli with this course. The garlic bread was buttery and garlicy with a nice crunch to it and the portion was large. For our mains I had the cheese patty with fresh homemade chips and beans. The patty was mashed potato and a layer of cheese, coated in breadcrumbs. This was around 2 inches thick and very tasty. My friend has a chicken escalope, chips and veg (fresh carrots and peas). She remarked that this was very much like a standard supermarket ready made turkey burger although I am confident it was freshly prepared. Both courses were delicious, but very standard homemade fare, which to be fair is what we went there to sample. However, the desserts let this meal down. I had apple pie which appeared microwaved as the pastry was soggy and the apples hard. This did not appear homemade, rather a shop bought offering. The other dessert sampled was ice cream and this came in the guise of a slice of very anaemic looking frozen dairy.
Overall, the meal was nice, fresh and excellent value, just let down slightly by the dessert but for the price and the excellent service you cant beat it.
