Aqualandia is right next door to Mundomar the sealife park in Benidorm and its quite possible to do both on the same day.
Its a well appointed park with plenty of slides, flumes and swimming areas. There lots of shade and you dont have to sit in the sun if its really hot as it was when we went.
Two downsides. Fiirstly, its the first Waterpark that I've visited where you are charged for admission (and it isnt cheap) and then they charge you again if you want a sun lounger and again of you want a rubber ring for the slides - the rings in particular are very large and heavy and you end up carting them about the park all day which is a pain.
Secondy, if you have a young child watch the mats at the top of the slides, even the kids slides. They are made of a very rough astroturf type material. My 5 year old tripped over a wrinkle in one of these mats, landed on his knees and ended up with severely skinned knees bleeding all over the slide. The parks 'First Aid' solution was to direct me to the shop where I could buy Elastoplasts. very caring attitude.
Overall we enjoyed the park but the 'grab your money' attitude disappointed me, We went once but didnt take up the offer of the second day.More
