Stayed here with friends in June and the place is a joke. Firstly you had to pay a deposit for any damages which is fair enough but trying to find the office to pay it was not easy. The apartment was very basic and no hot water meant nice cold showers and shaves! The pool area has rules that are quite unbelievable, no lilo, no sun beds, no food or drink, no ball games, what a farce. When leaving a list of rules stating a 50 euro charge for not emptying the bin, doing the dishes or leaving the place untidy! The only thing I'd say positive is that it's quiet so you can sleep well. Overall the place was like been in prison with all the rules and regulations and in general is a dump. Wouldn't stay for free if offered!
The place is clean and well located. Lots of local live in the block, its quiet and well kept.
Had 3 apartments in total, they were a decent size with a double bed and a double sofa bed, also had a good sized balcony.
There is no reception and picking the keys up was fine when we got the right place.
Don't think this is the best place for all male groups, lifeguard round the pool was miserable and wasn't very friendly especially to the Brits it appeared. That said, no real complaints but the place did lack atmosphere. It was only a few m8ns to the main bar areas. The rose and crown pub was good and only 2 mins away.
We stayed here a week in May. The owner met us at the apartment within minutes very friendly explained where the office was along with opening hours. We know Benidorm so this was not a problem finding it. The apartment slept 6 very spacious lovely and clean great location for everything. We knew before booking all the arrangements with the keys plus the swimming pool rules. None off it spoiled our holiday as we was well aware. Lovely staff in the office. Would definatley use these again.
The first problem is you pick keys up from like a travel agents which is 3 streets away and only give you the address not the actual name of the place and when we asked in shops know one seemed to know where it was, it is also only open 10.00-14.00 then 16.30-19.30 we where 5 mins late so had to stand with all are suitcases and two prams until it opened at half 4. Wouldn't be good if you are arriving in the middle of the night.
They only provide you with one key.
We where in room 12-2 n the 2nd block the balcony door didn't lock and with having a 1 and 2 year old not really safe for kids.
One of the beds had masking tape on a slot and even when my 1 year old sat on it another one always fell out.
At the pool you are not allowed any inflatables so there's not much for kids definitely wouldn't stay here again!!!
I went with a group of lads and it was a bit of a nightmare-
1. The office to Check in for the appartnents is situated a few blocks away. Be wary if you plan on turning up during silent hours as it seems to only be open during office hours. (I might be wrong though)
2. They took too long to sort out our 'checking in'
3. They only issued us with 1 key even though we had 5 lads staying in each appartment. This created a problem when we lost each other on the nights out.
It was however a very clean and spacious appartments with a big secure/private enclosure.
I would highly recommend the appartments to any families or couples.
Booked apartment Torres D'oboe Benidorm for a week in December 2016 via Amoma and Trivago.
Amoma's description said 24 hour reception, but on arrival there was no reception at all and no indication of where to go. We had to book another hotel to stay in for the first night as a result. We then spent a few hours asking people who came in and out of the building where to get keys. It turned out there were about 200 flats owned by different people. Ours turned out to be managed by an estate agent called Fincas Arenas based a few blocks away who had the keys.
When I went in they acted like I was renting the flat for a year. They demanded a large deposit and I had to sign a full multi page contract for the flat. They said it was Amoma who had not informed me and it was their fault.
Turned out to be a really nice flat but I would keep clear since you don't get to find out who owns it via Amoma before you go.
