5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2011

Stayed here twice now first time in 2008 and again last October and both stays where just perfect... It's true about the location Tis a fair walk to beach but on a lovely warm day who cares there are bars all the way down for refreshments... The rooms and cleanliness has not slipped very well looked after and the staff are very pleasant if u take the time to speak to them... Food is good can always get something to fill up on and we are picky at what we eat... Dont let negative reviews put u off this is a great clean friendly small hotel should be In the luxury with 5 stars if u ask me...

Just returned from the Deloix, smashing hotel .Large room and balcony which caught the sun all day (when it was out ! ) .All the staff were friendly especially the room maids who were always smiling and cheerful.
Evening entertainment was good, except for the reptile show which was a bit naff, unless your into snakes and stuff..Bar prices were reasonable, not as cheap as the local bars ,but 1.80 euros for a lovely glass of wine was fine by me.
Used indoor pool a couple of times, water temp could have been a little warmer but it was ok.
Food, this was a bit of a hit or miss affair. On the first night we were there we had a steak pie which was delicious and piping hot, good start we thought. But then on following nights as I said it was hit or miss, the majority of the food was luke wam,the chips were more like chipsticks, but on the other hand we had some nice meals there as well ,the Scottish pie one night was lovely. And the sweets hit the right spot also.
I would also like to take this opportunity to mention how well and professionally we were looked after by the Thomson staff during the air controllers strike.

stayed at deloix for 7 nights, hotel is very clean, room was good size bed very comfy. bit let down with tv the only english channels was sky news, bbc world news and movies 4 men channel.no tea making facilities in room (we took our own kettle and mugs). have read reviews about food not good, dont believe them, we have stayed and ate at many hotels in benidorm and can say this is the best by far. this hotel is not in the centre of all the bars etc. but you are only within 5 minutes walking distance, perfect location! if you choose the deloix you will not be disappointed

I have just returned from the Deloix hotel. My fried and I stayed there for a week half board. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, the meat just melted on your mouth. the selection of food was excellent, the choice of food was different every day. The salad bar was delicious. and the sweets were excellent. We couldnt decide what to have so had a bit of each The hotel staff speak very littel english which we liked as felt more like being in spain, the Soho bar is across the road and is excellent for a quiet drink, there were plent bars a few minutes walk away with very good cabaret acts. Ther is a local baker (spotless) and all the cakes etc were home made. we had a cake each (delicious) and tea for 5 euros. cant recommend the hotel and the surrounding area high enoughAlthough we did not have children with us the hotel is perfect for families with young children with a play area with a pool slides etc and tiny little toilet for littel ones. the view from our balcony and the pool area was excellent surrounded by mountains, There are no high rise hotels around so the pool area is a sun trap. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you into the old town fo 1.25 euro. I visit Benidorm at least 4 times a year and have stayed in most hotels but this is the BEST hotel I have stayed in. The hotel is spotless.and the staff are very friendly. Oh and there is a beautiful garden with palm trees and paths wich are litten up at night, so tranquil and relaxing. In the centre of the hotel. Definately reccomend this hotel. to couples and families. The spa pool was very warm just total relaxation which is what we were looking for.It is only a 15/20 minute walk to the beach and is situated a few minues from Benidorm Palace.

i have just returned fro the hotel deloix and thought the hotel was great, the rooms are a good size and the balcony also a good size, the swimming pool was quiet and a great place to catch the winter sun,the indoor pool was ok,wasnt very warm though and hated those ridiculous caps you have to wear, the big downside to this hotel was the food,it was mostly cold,a earlier reveiw said buffet food cant be kept hot, rubbish, ive stayed in many hotels where the food is served hot,all they have to do is not put so much out in one go,we found a solution to this by walking to the top notch bar,its 2 minutes from the hotel heading towards town, the food is always served piping hot the sunday carvery is cooked to perfection and the beer is cheap, spirits are reasonable aswell, and the terrace has to be one of the best in benidorm,i would go back to the deloix hotel but only room only and then eat at the top notch bar, that way you get a good hotel and great food.

We stayed at this hotel from the 16th to the 23rd of November 2010 during our first visit to Benidorm and were very impressed. The room was not ready when we arrived (at 11am) but we were able to put our luggage away securely while we went for a wander around town. The room was not bad and it had a large balcony overlooking the pool area which at this time of year is very quiet. The TV had many channels but only two english ones and they were both news channels so that was a bit of a disappointment given that the evenings were not very warm and the hotel entertainment was fairly low key. We had room 1001 which seemed like the noisiest room in the hotel as it overlooked the foyer of the hotel where the entertainment took place every evening and from around 10am there was constantly music playing in that area and around the pool which we could clearly hear from our room at all times. Almost all the other rooms were in a separate block and were presumably much quieter. The food was not too bad with a decent selection every evening although some of the cooked meat was undercooked. Each room has a safe which costs money to use, and beware that 'no molesten/do not disturb' hangers on the outside of the door is no guarantee that the cleaners won't come into your room as happened once with us.

The outdoor pool was too cold to use and the indoor pool didn't seem to be well heated although we used it most nights. WiFi is available throughout the hotel for EUR3 for four days which we thought was great value, but other than that we found the evenings to be a little too quiet for our taste. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel with buses every 15 minutes into town which we used quite a bit but for us we felt we were just too far from the beaches etc to be able to really enjoy our stay. This is a great place for a quiet relaxing 'spa' type break but that is not quite what we wanted.
