Firstly I must say how impressed we were (2 adults, 2 teenagers) with our apartment. It was spotlessly clean, great views 16th floor block 2. As with a previous apartment I rented last year, this one had a separate laundry room with a washing machine and huge clothes airer that you can put on the balcony. The kitchen had a cooker, microwave, toaster & everything you could need including tea towels. The living room had heating/aircon, pay TV with no English speaking channels but who needs TV in benidorm! The sofa bed was comfortable - in two parts for two people. Table chairs/tablecloth. The balcony was massive with door from living room and also from bedroom. Bedroom had heating/aircon, 2 single beds/huge wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower in it. Plenty of pillows and blankets and as we had 2 bedroom had good quality bedding and very acceptable quality towels, very clean, for 6 beds. It has 4 lifts and the hall ways are spotless as well. The security is great, keys to get in to the complex another for the building then the apartment. The pictures do not do the swimming pool area justice. Although too cold to use the pool, it was open and really pretty. Brilliant for kids. My girls used the indoor pool everyday. Everyone is really careful to shower before getting in and keep the pool clean. It was really warm in the indoor pool area and the water was said to be 29degress (it was lovely and warm). There's tennis courts & boules area too. We booked through Sunshine and our paperwork told us to collect keys at Beunavista apartments or Fincas. Beunavista apartments are past the gate (turn left out of gate) up the hill (slight hill) about 800 footsteps, past Fiesta Hotel and next hotel (cant remember name but its big) and turn left behind it. I left 100euros deposit which i collected when i dropped keys on day of departure. I went to Fincas to get spare key and this is on the sea front - turn right out of gate, down road in straight line and you will come to sea, turn right and Fincas is an eastate agent on the promenade. There was a phone number but no answer and we did meet lots of other people having trouble getting keys (one guy at midnight had called the number he was given - different holiday company than us - and they did not handle keys for the company he booked with - another couple, again near midnight had lost the email and didnt know where to collect their keys (not our apartments). I suggest you get the phone number (AND a pick up address for keys as some only give you a number to call) and call the number to check before you leave the UK and before your company have gone home for the night. I went with benidorm-apartments last year and also had no trouble but again, others did so beware. Our apartment overlooked the Pelicanos pool where Benidorm is filmed. The apartments are situated reasonably near the strip and beach in a really quiet complex. There's loads of shops, bars and chinese particularly restaurants outside the gate. the gate is hid between shops and past the Dynastic hotel. We saw a few good shows even though we didnt stay out late as this was a break with children, but the Copycats and Black Eyed Peas tribute was really good. Check out the beginning of the Dangerous Brian show. The start is hilarious but he needs new material to keep it up - still worth a look - bit rude for children but my teenagers thought it was funny. Hope this helps.
