i have been to benidorm many many times and have stayed in what were said to be brilliant but the medittaraneo is absoluteley amazing. The hygiene of the hotel is 2nd to non you could eat your dinner off the floor if you wanted to the food is fab always something different and one thing you don,t find is the days before speciallity made into a soup or stew the next day its always different. The staff are friendly and polite the activity staff deserve a medal they never stop all day and night and they are so good with the kids. rooms amazing cleaned daily there spotless. I have been in what i thought were some beautiful hotels around the world but non as clean as this. whats also nice is it is only 2 storeys high so safe for children on the balcony. also its away from the hustle and bustle so its lovely and quiet. I have booked again for next june and told all my friends about it it is great value for money i would say its the best in benidorm by far.

myself partner and 11 year old son stayed in this hotel for 10 days and had a lovely time.Rooms ,towels ,beds were changed/cleaned every day and staff were friendly and helpfull. We were worried about the depth of the pool before going as it is 5ft all round but it was not a problem and there was always a lifeguard available.Sun beds were already set out and there was plenty available with lots of space which my partner was pleased about.A nice 15 minute stroll bought you to the beach and shops /bars etc plenty going on down there in the evenings but very busy.
The only fault we found with this hotel was the evening enterainment it was rubbish every night and not worth staying in for.We found a great bar 2 minutes down the road on the same side as the hotel called the tropical where we saw some good entertainment it was cheap and the staff great with our son and very friendly. We would not let this put us off returning to this hotel as every thing else was great. In a quiet area just on the outskirts it was ideal base to get about and explore but away from the very busy centre. Will be going back again and taking our daughter and grandson next time.

My family and I travelled to this hotel on 26th May 2009, a party of 2 adults and 2 kids ( 8, 6). When reading some of the reviews we were a little concerned with the food ratings. However, these reviews were unfounded as we experienced a pleasant reception in the restaurant and a good choice of meals during our stay.
The Hotel is contemporary, with average facilities to keep the children entertained.
The childrens pool was very small, there was an outside park and kids club.
Sunbeds were a nightmare, having to get up at 07.00am some mornings to get one...however we were away at the peak of the school holidays.
We travelled to the hotel via taxi from the airport at a cost of approx 70 euro's each way. The number 10 bus stops right outside the hotel and will take you into the old town at a cost of 1 euro 20. If you prefer you can get a taxis just down the road for a cost of about 5 euro's.
Overall a nice hotel, big airy rooms with air conditioning, food ok, kids enjoyed it. The only downside would be the evening enetertainment with 2 dodgy singers. I would probably go back to the hotel, it's directly opposite Benidorm Palace and the Circus is worth a visit.

We stayed at the Mediterraneo in June with my husband and young daughter 20 months. We were a bit apprenhensive about Benidorm but because the hotel was away from the hustle and bustle it was ideal for us. The rooms were spacious, modern and cleaned well daily. The food was varied and plentiful so we all ate well and my daughter loved the paella!! The entertainment was not for us and our daughter is too young yet but found a great bar down the road called The Tropical bar so we went there where she could run about safely and we could relax and have a drink!! The hotel pool is deep but the baby pool was good and the lifeguard is there all day so it was fine. We have booked to go back in September for few days with some friends so it must be good !!

We have just returned from this hotel and i can honestly say it was brilliant! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I travelled with my husband and 2 kids aged nine and five. The staff were really nice and pleasant and also very helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. We had a view to the back of the hotel which meant you necer heard anything it was great. The kids club was good aswell and the kids loved it the staff were really good with the kids. Although this hotel is situated a wee bit away from the hustle and bustle of benidorm it is only 1.25 on the bus toget you down there or 5 euros in a taxi. Although if you like walking it is only about a 10-15 minute walk. the food was good aswell, there is always a good selection of dishes, the staff in the restaurant are really good, they were at your table as soon as you were sat down to take your drinks order. Also if you order a glass of wine they give you the whole bottle! they were really quick at clearing up after people aswell. I have absolutley no faults with this hotel at all and would book it again, there is one thing to mention though the swimming pool is salty so just beware of that.

My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night break "All Inclusive" at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned everyday even although we were only there for a short period. The staff were very friendly and there is a good choice of food to suit everyone's taste, even for the fussy eaters like myself! The entertainment staff were very organised with the activities for the young and old throughout the day. I have to say its the usuall tacky entertainment at night, but the kids totally loved it! We would definitely return with our 2 children (9 & 6) however, you should take note that the pool's "minimum" depth is 1.4 meters with no shallow end! The alternative is a small baby pool. The only negative thing we didn't like was the card system that you had to use to get your all inclusive food and drinks. When you went to the bar, each person was limited to 2 cards (1 drink per card) at any one time . We were away with two friends, so two of you had to go up to the bar together to get four drinks. Also, they class water as a drink, so you couldn't ask for a beer and a water at the same time if you only had one card. Overall this is a very clean and very friendly hotel, to which we would definitely return!
