After a "tete-a-tete" with my associates, We Decided a stay in the Picasso was on the cards,Easy access to the hotel,Which is always nice! Grub in the local cafe john & Josephs left me with a touch of Gandhi's revenge But as they say in France "tel aviv " Overall the stay in the Picasso is a safe bet and can lead to a nice little earner,Planning to return next year with me old mate "Jelly" Kelly.

From entering the hotel lobby we knew we were in for an experience like no other. It had so much tat hanging from the ceiling and covering the reception area we couldn't find out where we had to check in. After being greeted by one of the Gestapo other wise known as truce... who immediately demanded £80 deposit, we were shown to our apartment. The place stunk to high heaven, all the sockets were hanging off the walls. The kettle wouldn't switch off. The toaster wouldn't switch on. We were allocated 1 toilet roll between 3 of us. The rest we had to buy. Also, if we needed clean towels we had to pay €1 each towel. We never saw a cleaner the whole week when we were there. The hotel manageress" Truce" as we found out later was so intimidating, after the complaints we made about the kettle and toaster we didnt dare complain about anything else. Easy to say we wont be staying here again.

returned from picasso appts on 19th may after 5 night stay myself & 4 other ladies, we were worried about key collection as we didn,t arrive till1;45am but was no problems as the owners live on site and expect you. We were asked for 80 euros for each of our 2 appts and got this returned night before we left with no problem at all. Our 2 appts were on 7th floor large and spacious, very clean, every thing you needed even a iron and ironing board. Beds were comfy with extra thick fleecy blankets if needed, plenty of hot waterand large balcony with table chairs and clothes dryer. the bar area was cosy the drinks cheap 1;50euros pint lager 2 euros vodka n coke, the meals were absolutly gorgeous appeared to be all home cooked food and very reasonable prices. The staff were great ,very friendly and nothing was a bother. Pool area was smallish but adequete for amount of appartments and we loved the area with comfy cane sofa n chairs for a few afternoon drinks. It took me ages to find somewhere to stay in benidorm but i found a little gem in these appts and wouldn,t hesitate to go back.

This is the second time we have stayed in the Picasso Apartments. So we must have thought it good the first and this time was no different. The service from the staff is excellent, the security is excellent and the rooms are spacious. There is nothing special about this place as the rooms could do with being updated but as I say what you pay for is what you get. It is handy for the bars beach and nightlife. The people that use this place are always friendly and we have never crowds of mobs coming home late at night. There was a couple of problems this time with the main electricity blowing in the apartment's which cost them at least 30.000 euros and the boiler burst in our friends apartment, both where fixed promptly and no one can predict when faults are going to happen and we dud have the pleasure of climbing to the tenth floor, not as bad as you'd think. But it has not put us off and we'll be back next year

The Picasso appartments were brill. Very close to shops, bars, nite life and not far off a 10 min walk to beach :) The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with how spacious the appartment was, it was quite basic, but after all you get what you pay for, i would deffo stay there again.

Room Tip: all the rooms are on the front, and they get the sunshine on em at different times of the day, due t...

Ideal location although cardiac hill can take it out of you. Rooms are very spacious good size balcony although if you're high up you get no sun on balcony. Some staff friendly some not so much! Food is really nice. Really nice man in the kitchen and Sarah really friendly. No trouble seen, but a bit naff you can can't check in between 1 and 4pm and if you leave before 9am you need to get deposit back night before. When elevators broke for a good 12 hours no compensation offered I.e free drink etc especially when you have to walk eight flights of stairs in pitch black!

The Picasso apartments were the accommodation we chose for our first ever trip to Benidorm. The reviews were good, the price was good and on the whole we weren't disappointed. The apartment was large and clean, and it was nice to find a bath and not just a shower. The only downside was that if you reported something wrong nothing was ever done about it. We put some money in the TV but it was broken, we reported this straight away but nothing was done. A small complaint when there was a lot of good things about the Picasso as the staff were friendly, the drinks reasonably priced and the food tasty. The location is also excellent and the slope you have to walk up is a lot easier and quicker if you go up in front of the Nereo instead of past the Triangle. Overall we had a good time, not a lot of sleep thanks to drunken louts passing by at 3 in the morning, and this could be a major problem in the summer with there being no air con. Also bear in mind that there is no maid service and if you want clean sheets or towels you have to request them yourself. This didn't bother us but some other guests grumbled about it.
