Loved it there, food amazing, entertainment outta this world!', inside salon fab, staff there are really friendly, the games room
is really good but the person who looks after it is mean.the cinema is good its also like a mine disco inside at 12pm,the rooms are good, but i would add more elevators as it took us 15 min to get to room because of this.there is a feet spa where fish nibble your toes,
which is good!, adults only part on the roof is ok but unfair for the rest!, foot ball pitch is good but loved the minnie golf, had a amazing time, LOVED its tropical features, what to go back like now.

The hotel is large and clearly very popular. It was a lot busier than we had anticpated but ideal as a base for our stay. The food was of a good quality and plenty of choice. The bar staff were generally very good. The reception staff were very helpful. We did not see any of the evening entertainment but what was advertised appeared to be of a good standard and there were many other guests who clearly enjoyed the shows. You do need to pay a deposit if you want a remote control or safe. The room was clean and of a good standard although there wasnt a fridge to store water in. We stayed on the 11th floor and used the stairs a lot but those wanting lifts to higher floors did have to wait a while. The pool area was extremely busy and there are long periods where you will be in the shade but this would apply to most hotels in Benidorm. This hotel does have an adult only sunbathing area with a bar if you want to get away from the crowds. The beach is about a 15min walk as is the main entertainment area although there are also places to go on the doorstep. I would recommend this hotel to families and groups. It may be a bit too busy for couples.

Room Tip: When we booked the holiday company said all rooms have pool views but we had a view over the hospita...

An excellent hotel for both adults and children. Entertainment during the day and good shows at night. We have been three times to this hotel and would recommend it. Very friendly staff. Many choices at meal times served with soft drinks or alcohol. Rooms kept spotless by friendly maids. Large pool area and many beds for sunbathing. There is a great bar across the road with good acts if you venture out. The main strip is about a five minute walk from hotel.

We stayed as a couple just after the August Bank Holiday for ten days. On arrival the hotel was unsurprisingly full of kids. We did feel a bit out of place as a couple with no kids. however if you have kids it is a cracking hotel.

The pool area is large and we didn't have a problem getting a sun bed though there was the laughable sun bed run every morning. Due to the height of the hotel and the surrounding buildings, not all the pool area is in the sun all day so people tended to be out first thing to reserve beds in particular areas. It was irritating when beds were reserved all day with nobody using them.

The entertainment team were good and there were various activities through the day to keep kids and adults amused including water polo, volleyball, darts, football etc. In the evenings there was a kids disco every night (though it got repetitive) and then a quiz or game followed by a show or two. the standard was ok - we particularly enjoyed Mamma Mia and Michael Jackson. The team were enthusiastic and the kids obviously adored them. If you don't want to stay in the hotel there is plenty to amuse in Benidorm itself.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the beach and there are plenty of bars locally which tended to be very reasonable. Most bars were doing buckets of beer (5 bottles for 7 euros) local bottles of beer were usually 2 euros. The hotel is close to Levi's Showboat which is worth a visit and not too far from the Benidorm Palace. We visited the Union Jack bar which is a couple of minutes walk towards the beach. This was a stereotypical British bar but they showed football, food seemed decent and best of all they had free WIFI! The hotel does have an internet cafe area which is 1 euro for 15 minutes.

We had a standard room which was fine. It was cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff were very nice. Cleanliness was good all over the hotel with the only issue being the British guests who seemed to have issues either flushing toilets or picking up their own stuff. The restaurant staff were super friendly and hardworking. The bar staff were not quite as friendly but still ok. If i had to serve some of the inconsiderate guests i'd possibly be a bit moody too!

We were on the 11th floor and were at the end of the corridor facing the mountains - room 1117. Worked very well as no noise from the entertainment and we were in the shade so room didn't get unpleasantly hot.

The food was very much aimed at British tastes - carvery twice a day and chips with every meal. Including breakfast! There was lots of choice of dishes including tasty salads and a great cheese and meat selection. We were disappointed there wasn't more local foods but the standard of what they did was decent. The carvery tended to be the best thing each day and sometimes the choices seemed a little random for example there would be a few curries but no rice? We would particularly recommend the salmon which was superb. We weren't too impressed with the house wine but the local beer was San Miguel which was ok.

Overall the hotel was good, very clean with friendly and professional staff. It is very much a family hotel and i wouldn't recommend it for non families within the school holidays. As the kids went back the average age of the guests went up and it became more pleasant. The kids did tend to run riot and be up very late.

Thomson/First Choice reps were informative, helpful and friendly. We did the secrets of Costa Brava trip which went to Guadalest and Algar Falls. Guadalest was lovely but cafe's in the village were pricey. The trip pushes you towards lunch at the place they recommend. Don't bother! There are other places nearby which looked better and the options they give you are rubbish - greasy chicken and chips or pizza. Have some tapas at somewhere else nearby. The Falls themselves are great - take swimsuits and shoes you can wear in the water and enjoy.

Room Tip: If you want to avoid the lifts go for a low floor, rooms overlooking the pool will experience noise...

Just returned on Tuesday from Benidorm's Flamingo Oasis Hotel. Have been to this hotel twice and I cannot wait until we book up for next year. Had a truely amazing holiday. Hotel and rooms spotless, Friendly staff, Outstanding choice of food and drinks. Weather was nice and hot.
The plus side is there is loads to do from going on a visit to Altea to spending the day at Aqualandia and Mundomar. If you want t spend the time relaxing at the hotel then there is still loads you can do from the games through the day to the entertainment in the evening which is first class and is varied so everyone can enjoy. Entertainment staff are so hardworking and there are loads of laughs at the shows they put on. The reps are very knowlegeable and their advice is first rate.
I have read various reviews on tripadvisor and I would like to say to those who think that the food is poor or that the beer is watered down that this is rubbish!! Even my daughter would find food she liked everyday and it would be varied, and I really would love to know how metal kegs of beer can be watered down!!
As for the complaints about the lifts! All I can say is those people don't know how to use them!!
If you are thinking of visiting Benidorm The Flamingo Oasis is the place to go!!
