The reception etc:
I stayed here with 3 other people from the 21st May to the 28th. We had to hand all of our passports in to reception and collect them in the morning (We decided to leave them with reception all week as they are then safe with them) When you check in you do have to leave a 60€ deposit but this is understandable as it makes people be more responsible with their rooms. However Thomson did not even mention a deposit at any point which is poor. The reception small and basic but It does have places to sit and some entertainment (Pay PC's/TV etc) They did have Wi-Fi but only in reception and it only worked for two days out of the 7. The pool was an OK size the pool area wasn't the best could do with sprucing up a bit if you ask me, also the sun beds were all plastic with no material so they were rather uncomfortable. The good thing was you can use any of the facilities at the Levante Club and Levante Beach which were just down the road so you had a choice of 3 pools, bars and places to sit, I often went down to use the Wi-Fi at Levante Beach which was quit fast for Spain (The password for that was Apto.Levante both with a capital letter.
The room was quite small to say it held four people and it had a bedroom with two beds and the main room had a bed and a sofa bed. The sofa-bed being the most uncomfortable. It had a kettle, toaster, oven and electric hob in the kitchen. There was also a sink to wash your clothes in. Also the lifts were very old and quite scary if you ask me. The apartments could really do with a refurbishment.
Decent sized kitchen
4 Ring hob
Very large balcony
Two plugs on the balcony
Good size safe
No Lamps only bright white lights
No mirror in the main bedroom
Small bath tub
Only 3 chairs at the dining table
No TV remote
Only 3-4 English channels
Shortage of plugs (Had to use the toaster outside, only one in the kitchen)
There are probably some points that I have missed but all in all it was fine for a two star apartment. The staff were helpful and spoke English. I had a good time and I recommend checking out the Sol Pelicanos as this is were they flim 'Benidorm' there are many cheap shops and good bars. We went to the Red Lion and saw Sticky Vicky for free... Be warned it is entertaining yet horrifying. Saying that I would probably not return as I prefer Magaluf... Less mobility scooters and high-rise buildings.
