We echo previous reviews....The service we received from all the staff was very good and the place is kept very clean throughout. We went with our boys and friends so children of different ages. the accommodation is fine. we found the use of the AI card system worked well with no issues. The pool is great and the entertainment staff do well during the day and are very sociable with their customers. THE FOOD - a little samey samey, there was paella everyday as well as other selections of food trying to accommodate all, unfortunately we stopped only for a week but that was enough with what was on offer....I would have preferred the self catering to allow for variety. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT - very poor I'm afriaid. There needs to be more professional evening acts to suit all. Three of our seven nights poor animals/birds were 'paraded' around and the careers were trying to sell photos with them, I didn't like this. The on site entertainers do there very best but need outside acts to support providing better evening events, if not for the location of the hotel. The walk into the old town is very nice but of a distance it cannot be done on a whim for half an hour. Taxis back all round but only 6 euros max.
I do hope though the AI option introduced this year does not open the flood gates to 'union jack shorts' holiday maker who let's the majority of Brits abroad down. Our weeks was great with nice families hAving a good time - we felt an obvious change the night before we were due to leave and felt relieved we were. I am sure overall most people will enjoy their stay. We can't complain for what we paid. Would I go again no. but only because I like to experience different places. If you are on a budget then I think this holiday offers good value for money.

this was our 3rd visit to terralta....the apts were clean as always and reception staff very friendly as were the cleaners....bar staff were miserable as always !! saw a big change in the place since all inclusive was introduced, the night entertainment was rubbish, kids singing 'let it go' night after night, and folk sitting around looking bored to tears, thankfully we were sc and ate out every evening and had a chuckle to ourselves at the bored faces when we returned !! dont expect any sleep until at least after 2am...kids, some young, running around corridors and pathways until all hours, pressing door buzzers etc.no parents in sight to stop them !! we had 2 children with us who had little sleep and certainly were not aloud to run amoke at night time.maybe some security guard walking the grounds at night might have stopped this happening.......sunbeds were reserved early on a morning especially around the shallow end of pool and despite hotels new rule of not allowing it, we saw rows of beds with towels on them and no-one returning to them all day..we left ours for 10mins one morning and returned to find ours had been removed which meant we could not sit near to shallow end anymore with my grand daughter who was a non swimmer !! the new rule should apply to everyone, every day !!! will not go back to terralta because in my opinion, all inclusive has spoilt what was a lovely family sc hotel by drunken parents leaving their kids to go wild !

Room Tip: ask for a 3rd floor room in block 3 or 4 if you want any sleep !!

Just returned from a week in the Terralta. There was a group of six of us and we had read all the reviews for these appartments so had a fair idea of what to expect. On arrival we mocked the complaints of 'the hill'....we said that it was meerly an incline rather than a hill...the last laugh was on us cos i swear the hill got steeper by the week!!! The appartments and all areas of the grounds are spotless. The pool was lovely. Entertainment was poor and laughed thinking of the acts that may have been rejected in favour of the ones we watched...our particular favourite was the man dancing in a human sized hoover hose..absolutly bizzare!haha...overall we had a really good time at the Terralta ..its a lovely basic hotel /appartment..nothing fancy but good...

Many of the positive reviews cover everything. It's clean, modern and the maid visited us every other day. The apartments are spacious, the kettle, fridge and microwave are great. The shop stocks some British stuff so you can make a snack if the restaurant hasn't done anything you fancy. It's nicer to get up to a cup of British tea in a morning. All the bar staff are friendly and we got good advice from Jose, they all work long hours. Reception could not do enough for us when we needed to track down a shop for a mobile phone charger on a bank holiday. The only negative things are when you have 3 people and you want 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches from the pool bar, that counts as 4 things, and you can only have 3 in ten minutes. So you have to go back. Also the queue for drinks on a night gets a bit tiresome. It's too long and they need another member of staff serving. Or a self service beer pump. Take a few extra Euros for the taxi fare back to the hotel, it's quite a long walk uphill with bags. Manel is the star in the entertainment team. I think that team would do well to ask if there are any birthdays or anniversaries on a night. Also they could do with rifle shooting and archery for the adults as there's not much for the Adults to do during the day. There other guests mainly seemed to be northerners, which was great. Very friendly. Over all we loved it and would definitely go back.

Room Tip: The pool view rooms are lovely in a morning.

If you drink cider or your children like a ice cream then go self catering as the all inclusive is a bit of a con , there is a sheet on arrival to tell you what you can have and not have and also states that you can pay a supplement which the hotel management don't honour and there the main manager and his deputy are one word rude which is such a shame as the rest of the staff very nice , but saying all that the Terralta is a great place for a family but check with your travel agent when you book as what may be included in the all inclusive before you hand over your hard earned cash .

Just back from first and sadly last visit to Benidorm.
The hotel is faultless - although I can't comment on the food as we were self catering.
The entertainment is horrendous to the point of funny ... We never really watched it as we ventured out each night.
If you can walk up and down the hill ( there are 2 ) . One is really steep, the other isn't so bad but takes a little longer , you come to old town Benidorm which is lovely and full of little restaurants, tapas bars and shops. It's very very busy with the locals every night.. But really nice.
We ventured into new town once - never ever again .. It's like a very run down Blackpool!
On a whole, Benidorm wasn't for me and sadly I'll be sticking to Greece in future .
