I holidayed in Benidorm twice a year as a child and we always ate at John and Josephs as it was cheap and cheerful and, if I am being honest, all we could really afford after blowing all our money on a holiday in the first place.
I have just been back for the first time in 10 years and went to John and Josephs for nostalgia reasons. 1 euro a pint and cheap and cheerful food.
Lots of people on here moaning about poor quality ingredients and things being so different to their usual Sunday dinner...here is some news for everyone moaning...you are in Spain, you are not going to get the best roast you have ever had! And for 3 euros what do you expect!
If you go to John and Josephs with the hope of getting some cheap decent food you will be very satisfied. If you go expecting silver service and an al a carte menu then you will be left weeping at the bar while you wait for Sticky Vicky to entertain you.
