“Been going here since 1993”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

I holidayed in Benidorm twice a year as a child and we always ate at John and Josephs as it was cheap and cheerful and, if I am being honest, all we could really afford after blowing all our money on a holiday in the first place.
I have just been back for the first time in 10 years and went to John and Josephs for nostalgia reasons. 1 euro a pint and cheap and cheerful food.
Lots of people on here moaning about poor quality ingredients and things being so different to their usual Sunday dinner...here is some news for everyone moaning...you are in Spain, you are not going to get the best roast you have ever had! And for 3 euros what do you expect!
If you go to John and Josephs with the hope of getting some cheap decent food you will be very satisfied. If you go expecting silver service and an al a carte menu then you will be left weeping at the bar while you wait for Sticky Vicky to entertain you.

“Last Port of Call on a night out”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

I was staying in the Ambassador Playa straight across the road from John and Josephs so the last port of call each night (or early next morning) was here. Food served 24hrs a day and its the sort of late night stuff you want, kebabs, pizza, burgers etc. prices reasonable and great place for people watching.

“Works canteen !”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

I have worked in the steelworks in Scotland during the eighties and I can say that the food you got then was better than what was served up here 2013 ! Waiters didn't really want to know you unless you were a regular and when you could get your bill at the end they guessed what you had eaten and drank . All in all people generally didn't seem to mind as most seemed to be living in Spain or on the drink ! Never tried breakfast , kinda glad .
