We booked this hotel mainly due to its location, which is in a quiet area approx 10-15 min walk from both the old and new towns, Uphill!
The room was quite large with plenty of storage space, large desk and TV.
There was a fridge in the room that you could hire. Now that's a first!!! and also a safety deposit box which you could also hire.
The beds were comfortable enough and bathroom was clean enough.
Maid service was ok. The top cover on one of the beds had a yellowish stain on it and we got something on the other one and it stayed like that for 2 days until i spoke with the maid to ask her to change it.
The floors in the corridor are laminate and floors in the rooms are tiled and you can hear every little noise. From people walking and talking in corridors to the furniture being moved....
We were very unfortunate to be in a room where the people next door would return from anywhere between 0300 and 0730 and have full on rows and fights so this didnt help with the noise. I must say it is the most noisy hotel stay i have ever had!
The food................Its hard to make an honest statement on this as after 2 nights at the very start of the holiday (11 night holiday) of finding the most bland tasteless food on offer we didnt bother eating there again. We made it to breakfast a couple of days at the last minute and just had a coffee and toast.
The pool area is very small and is wholly in the shade until around 2pm. No problem getting a sunbed though.
We would not return to this hotel!

Room tip: Rooms on the back of the hotel get the late sun.

Nice hotel, clean and tidy, room nice good beds and cleaned by maids everyday
Bit out of the way of the strip, about 7 to 10 euros to it in a taxi. But we didn't mind as it was nice and quiet to get our heads down for sleep. Didn't like the breakfast unfortunately very bland for me only fault but the rest was spot on

We visited Prince Park for 10 nights. If you're a drunken beer drinking Brit then this probably isn't the place for you. We stayed as a family group and had a fab time. After reading some of the reviews about this hotel only catering for Spanish we were concerned, but thought we would reserve judgement. We're so pleased we did. The staff amazing. The bar staff are fab, friendly and will go out of their way to help. Pedro, we think you are fab. The same can be said for the restaurant staff who remembered us and our room numbers, adding a personal touch. Staff in the dining room were polite and courteous. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful.
We arrived very late at night to fresh fruit in our room, fresh bread, bottled water, tinned salad, tinned tuna and other food items. We thought this was a nice gesture. We've stayed at many 4 star hotels and above where we haven't had this.
You pay for the fridge, and safe. After reading reviews we took our own kettle.
Food - this was very mixed. For the first 5 days there seemed to be lots of Spanish cuisine and this was lovely, tasty and nicely cooked. If we'd had this for all 10 nights we would have been more than happy. However, the cuisine seemed to change to more UK type cuisine as more UK guests arrived. This just didn't work out well. Undercooked beef, lukewarm food, fried eggs were underdone are just some examples. If this hotel is going to offer English food, they need a good English chef, OR stick to Spanish/continental cuisine because that was really good at this hotel. On a couple of nights we just couldn't eat what was on offer. There's a fab pizza take away that we found on these nights called Mimi's, just a short stroll away. You can sit outside and eat under cover there.
Cleaning was good. Fresh towels provided every day. The beds were comfy. We had an enormous balcony overlooking pool and road. One day cleaners didn't arrive. We think that was more about the lock sticking on our door. They thought we'd locked them out.
Pool area was nice. Small but sufficient sized pool. Water very cold. Never had a problem getting sun beds.
Entertainment in the bar at night was diabolical. One circus act after another. The worst was someone dressed up as a monkey. One act was very vocal and involved lots of audience participation, but was all Spanish. So, as UK clients with limited Spanish language skills we did feel a bit left out.
The other residents at the hotel for our first week seemed to be mainly Spanish and were lovely with us. We joined in with the Karaoke. Then the Brits started to arrive in typical stereotypical fashion, with the exception of a few.
We'd definitely return to Prince Park if the price was right. We had a fab time overall. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Stoped here for the nights and it was great. All staff friendly. Rooms lovely and clean. The beds were the best I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Food was good too. Would definitely stop here for a longer duration. Great location too. 10 mins to old town 15 mins to new.
