“Just three star but had it all as far as we were concerned”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

We have recently returned from a week at the Hotel Presidente, which exceeded our expectations.
It was very clean, spacious, well positioned for the beach one way, the market in the opposite direction with shops, bars & clubs in the surrounding streets.
Admittedly this was not in high season but despite being fairly busy, we heard no noise throughout the night & slept really well. There is a cabaret club attached which was great, we saw several acts there for free too.
The food was amazing, a range of fresh, appealing salads, varied hot meats & fish, vegi options & delicious desserts. We stayed on a full board basis and were impressed with the changing choices at every meal. The staff were all welcoming & helpful. We thought this hotel was a wonderful bargain & would definitely return.

Room Tip: We were three couples, all our rooms were good. Two of us on the 7th floor the other couple on the 2...

My Wife and I have just stayed here again over the Easter weekend and had a brilliant time, as ever.
The hotel is currently being refurbished and we asked if we could try one of these rooms overlooking Avda Filipinas, which was exactly what we got - many thanks. The old, noisy air conditioning units have gone, as have the external holes in the wall that they fitted in to, and they've been replaced with good quality units with English instructions. The rooms have had flat screen TV's for some time but they now got additional English speaking channels.
I'm going to repeat what others have said in previous reviews but it's all good and you won't be disappointed.
A lovely touch when we arrived late on the first night was a packed lunch, well supper I suppose.
Thanks again all the staff at the Presidente. See you in June.

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool is great but you have to pay for the pleasure, so ask for a room on Avda Filipi...

The Presidente is a 5 minute walk from the Levante Beach amongst all bar and restaurants of Benidorm. Our room was on the seventh floor over looking the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. We had maid service every day and a regular change of towels. Our only little niggle was that their wasn't a proper table on the balcony, only 2 chairs and a little stool. We stayed full board and found the food to be very good with a wide choice of hot food and salads every day. All the staff were friendly. Bar prices were very reasonable. An excellent holiday.

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and were still pleased with the service provided. We stayed for a week from the 6th April looking for a week away in the warm with our four friends. We arrived late morning due to a morning flight and the rooms were not quite ready, we were able to leave our cases in the storage room and went for a wander and a drink. Came back at one and as we were full board were given our restaurant passes to go and have lunch after lunch our rooms were now ready (They do not have to let us in until 4 pm usually). I found the Reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The food offered I felt was fine and plenty of options to choose from and had no problem finding a meal to suit each time.

Our friends have been to this hotel many times and were also pleased with their stay as well. It is well situated for evening entertainment and very close to the beach and market (both within 5 - 10 minute walk depending on how fast you are). Can recommend Sinatra's as a place for entertainment from 9.00 pm and drinks are 2-1 all night. Get there bout 9 to get a good spot.

Pool views are on the sunny side of the hotel which is nice late afternoon to sit on your balcony and enjoy the late afternoon sun. There were plenty of sunbeds to choose from and going up straight from breakfast had no problem getting one. The rooms were nice and comfortable and plenty of space. The showers were lovely and powerful and no shortage of hot water. We only had one pillow each but when asked at reception another was delivered by time we went back to our rooms later. The rooms were cleaned everyday with no problems.

The weather was slightly cloudy but 'warm' cloud you could walk around with a cardigan or jumper on quite comfortable (better than a coat at home!) and then it got better as the week went on.

The staff were friendly and always ready to greet you and help.

Room Tip: It's worth paying the extra when booking for a pool room - but when booking just compare the pri...

This hotel is perfectly placed for the nightlife, especially if you pay a little extra for a poolside room which is away from the street.
The reception staff are lovely, very helpful and smiley.
Rooms are basic but comfortable with shower and bath.
I agree with the previous comment about the food. Weekends are better with a seafood buffet including wonderful fresh salmon. A nice touch is the 'bubbly' & caviar at breakfast.

Room Tip: Poolside rooms are quieter.
