Were do i start. i read the reviews on here after booking the hotel for me and husband & 2 year old and 6 year old kids, and was dreading the hotel.
arrived at about 23.30 stood at the locked gates pressing the buzzer to get it but no one opened the gates so hubby had to climb the spikey fence. Got to reception the man wanted 50 euros deposit. gave us the keys and sent us to the 21st floor room 2165 i think.. i couldnt beleive it when we walked in. smashed window curtains ripped hanging down. make shift bedrooms on the balcony, the windows didnt lock which i was so worrid about with the kids, the fridge was rusty cables hanging all over and wires the kids could of stood on the bath and fell out the window, there was a dirty ashtray on the side and one in the wardrobe full of fag nubs and it stunk of cheap air freshner. no windows in bedroom. dark dirty shabby and unsafe i could of cried. we stayed that night, next day went for breakfast it was one woman making the fry ups and the drinks and cleaning tables and when the breakfast came it was cold i had to pay for the extra cup of coffee as only aloud one drink each. went back to the room put kettle on the electric went bang., hubby went down stairs to tell them and they wrote it in a book. so we fiddled with fuse box and got it back on had to plug kettle on in the living room, as blew the electrics every were else. and with that i rang low cost holidays and begged them to find me somewere else she said i needed to speak to the manager but she would do it on my behalf explained it wasnt safe just wanted to leave she said give me an hour waited all day she never rang back, so went to reception spoke to a lady showed her the photos i had took and after snapping at me she said she would give us the best room she had which was room 502 which was lovely different again. thank goodness for that out of the hell hole. the pool then was out of order but they said we could still go in it? it looked clean enough so we dipped our legs in. and one day we went for breakfast and he said the cooker was broke gave us a tin of beans and some bread. so didnt bother going again after that. the hotel is in a good location the staff were fine but the hotel is grubby its a residentail apartment people live there. its not for a family we met no one else with kids, and they were loads of stag and hens which didnt bother us i would not reccomend this hotel im 41 traveled a lot in the europe and this is the worst i ever stayed in. If i was book a stag or hen doo, i wouldnt book here its so cheap to eat at benidorm you could get a breakfast for 150 euros, i swam with the dolphins at the mundarmar which was lovely the benidorm circus was very entertaining and terra nature was allright but the water park was closed so was a bit dissapionted this time all in all we like benidorm thumbs down to the evamar
