Location is superb, right on the seafront in the middle of Benidorm. Unfortunately thats where the good bits end !
Went 6th to 11th September and the hotel was full of Spanish pensioners. Spanish pensioners do not wait in line, they elbow you out of the way and go straight to what they want ! They also amused us when the lift arrives at ground floor, they all rush in before the people inside have a chance to get out - its a wonder the poor lift didn't break under the strain.
Didn't seem to be enough tables for the number of guests in the dining room, really difficult to find a table and they were not cleared & re-laid very quickly. There is no outdoor pool and only a small balcony (room for 8 to 10 max) outside the bar so sitting outside with a drink is also a problem. If like us you smoke, there just was no-where to sit and relax outdoors.
Because of the bar / outdoor / dining room issues, we spent a lot of time (and money) out of the hotel - we had paid for all inclusive accommodation but did not get hardly any benefit from it.
Most of the rooms have no balcony and are decent size but tired, in need of a re-furb. View from the room was of the back of other blocks and scruffy alleyways.
Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially the two Brits behind the bar and the Spanish reception staff were very good.
Wouldn't go back and would only recommend room-only board.
