Alpha Apartments
Ranked #103 of 192 Hotels in Benidorm

If you're looking for a budget hotel within easy reach of all Benidorm's attractions, then this is an excellent choice. 10 minutes walk to beach, 10 minutes from the outdoor market, and about 20 minutes from the Old town. Despite being just five minutes from the nightlife on the "Yellow brick Road", it is not on a main walkway, so we were never disturbed late at night. Having said that, bear in mind it is a budget hotel, so you may be surrounded around the pool if you clash with stag or hen party weekend.
The snack bar and beer prices were comparable with local rivals, sunbeds were free, (not always the case), air-conditioning was a godsend at 50 cents an hour, and the free tv in the room had limited UK channels.
The pool isn't massive, and although there is a small kids section, the remainder is at a uniform depth of 1.4metres. So if a pool is important to you and you have children, or are small and not a strong swimmer. you would probably be best looking elsewhere,
Good places to eat nearby are Dennis's and Magic Roundabout, (facing each other on neaby Calle Ibiza). and both offer high quality food at very reasonable prices. A great var to go to is the Secret Fountain bar on Calle Gerona, amd the livelier Cafe Benidorm on Avenue de Majorca caters for the party crowd.
Overall, an excellent choice of hotel for those looking for a great time at low prices.

Stayed at apartments for twoweeks (15th -29th August),we picked the hottest weeks to go. Not like I am complaining but some days it was a bit too uncomfortable. The apartments were great got ninth floor which provided a great view. Not much to complain about room fine, clean everything you needed( pots pans kettle toaster microwave oven twotop burner ) We ate out as it was a holiday for me so no cooking for two weeks. Well it was cheap to eat out so why not.Reception people, cleaners, snack bar staff very friendly. Ate at the snack bar a few times meals were very nice, they even wrap the food up to take up to the room if wanted, you had to share the chips you got loads. Pool great not too deep but with me not being a swimmer I just stood holding the rail. Lots of families there so a bit noisy some days but you cant expect children to be quiet. Loads of beds but didnt stop people running for them at 10 o'clock it was funny watching them. The lifts were the only thing I didn't like they were so small, could only get three people in comfortable, we had to go one at a time with our cases . Alpha was in a good spot near big outdoor market, night life, Old Town, beach, shops. Found Secret Fountain was as good as people say I loved it, was as if you were in a different place .Tommy's Bar just outside the apartments was a good place to end the night not too far to walk home if you had too much to drink. Never saw any trouble but people round pool did mention about mugging. Booked transfers with Travel Republic they were spot on there and back.

Hey Im just back from a short 4 night stay at alpha with 2 friends! We had an absolute ball... Alpha is literally a 2min walk round the corner to the main strip which is great.. Staff were ok didn't really speak to much with is although were helpful with booking taxis and waterpark :) (which was amazing) the pool bar serves e ellent food of great quality and also super cheap! Imported drinks were also cheap at €2.50 for wkd or corona! Although if u r on a budget they sell these at a supermarket up the street for €1.50. Pool was good size with plenty of sunbeds (doesn't open til 10am tho) I would def stay here again and would also recommend to others! Benidorm itself is fantastic

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Alpha Apartments in Benidorm and i must say that i found them clean frendly and well run, nothing like some of the reviews i read befor i traveled.
I would recommend the Alpha to any family its just far enough away from the madness in the town centre to get a rest an has a good pool with plenty of sun beds (had some new ones this week) the rooms are clean with everything you need and all have a masive balcony to sit out on. we had our sheets changed twice andtowels 3 times.
Thepool bar serves food and has a happy hour 2 for 1 every day, so for me i am very happy, well done Alpha. 8/10
Only done side is the Air con is expensive at 1 euro per hour, fix that and you will get the full 10.

Stayed here in june 2011. Couldnt fault the apartments, rooms very spacious very clean on arrival only downside is you are only given one toilet roll so you have to buy a pack from the shop. Pool was satisfactory a lot bigger than what it looks in the brochures, a ten minute walk from the beach and shops at every corner you turn. Kfc just down the road for those who are fussy eaters. Close to nightlife literally only round the corner from the nightclub strip which had a selection of bars and clubs such as hippodrome and the champions bar very very cheap aswell as you were coaxed into each bar with the offer of a free shot or cocktail. Staff at alpha apartments very friendly and helpful and bar staff were lovely. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone and will definetly be making a return!

We went at the start of the Scottish school holidays. Room was clean, facilities were fine, pool was good. At night, a lot of noise from revellers on their way out/home. One euro an hour for air con, bad picture on the telly, not that we watched it much. Good snacks (burgers) available at the bar, drinks not badly priced. Never seen a maid, had to go and change our own towels and sheets, kept our own room clean. Next door to Tommy's Bar, excellent entertainment and two -for-one all night. Ten minute walk to sea-front, not far from anything. Staff allowed lads to sit round kids area of pool with bottles, had to tell them myself to move. Not a bad experience.

Rooms - comfortable and spacious, air con was great (1 euro an hour), free tv with sky sports in the room. Clean and everything works
Bar - Good food selection and happy hour twice a day.
Pool - Big enough for the size of the place, plenty of loungers etc.
Staff - really friendly and helpful.

Overall great location, not too big not too small, excellent value for money.
