Just back from a 6 night stay at the Gran Bali, very good hotel with good sized rooms and well maintained. Friendly staff and plenty of choices at all meals which were buffet style, microwaves were supplied for reheating for the latecomers. I was on the 23rd floor of tower 2 with excellent views overlooking the length of the city and out to sea. My only criticism would be that service at the all inclusive bar could be a bit slow at times but all in all an excellent choice if you want to be away from the main tourist end of the city.

Hotel was modern. Rooms spacious, and sea views amazing. Rooms and public areas spotless. Food was plentiful, and even fussy eaters like myself could always find something to eat.
Swimming Pools and sunbeds not overcrowded. It was a short stroll to two beaches.
The only things we could fault the hotel on was on an evening, there was only entertainment provided for the Spanish Guests, and all the British People were very bored. It was ten euros in a cab into Benidorm, if you wanted to see a show that catered for the Brits. All information on trips etc were in Spanish. reception staff could not even help us when we asked about local markets, which we found strange.Enrique in Reception was very helpful. Beds were hard. All in all, good value for money

Room Tip: ask for sea view with balcony on a high floor. amazing views

Picked this hotel as it's large and we was told it was five star, but now we are told it isn't ? So we are not sure. It give us everything we needed and we had a great time in the hotel, we went fully inclusive but we also spent a lot of time away from the hotel in Benidorm main town , which is within easy walking distance. Hotel was clean and tidy and staff friendly, food was ok and although the drinks are included they are mostly locally sourced and not brand names. Location was good for us, we will go back.

Room Tip: Get a room with sea view, worth the extra money

Just back from a short break in Benidorm and stayed at the Gran Bali for 5 nights. Hotel lovely, room was a good size, with fresh towels being provided daily, even when we didnt ask for them. Staff nice and friendly. We were on the 18th floor and the views were amazing. 7 to 8 minute stroll down to the beach, and probably 10 minutes back up the hill to the hotel. About 30 mins to the old town if walking along the promenade or the No 2 bus from outside the hotel which runs every 15 minutes and costs 1.5 euros,ẃherever you are going too. The only negative comment is the food, which was of ok quality but tended to be similar every day, but there was certainly plenty of it. Too much queueing though if you wanted to get juice/tea/coffee. Entertainment in the evening was a latino group every night, great to dance too but got fed up after a couple of nights and headed into the old town instead for Tapas and entertainment of every variety you could wish for. Would stay again but would probably opt for bed and breakfast only and head into town for other meals.

A 4 night break to Alicante/Benidorm for some late summer sun n fun
location is ok, a 10 minute stroll to a nice little beach, or 20 minutes to the main beach. We managed to walk along the beach from the hotel to the benidorm main beach area,. It took all morning, about 4 miles i guess, very pleasant.
I requested a high room in the main building with a sea/pool view. I was given the end room on floor 12. At first I was a little disappointed as I would have like to have been nearer floor 43, but the view I had was great + the room had 4 beds and there was only the two of us.The beds were a little hard and on two of them there was a wooden surround which really hurts when you jump on the bed the first time and not realizing! bathroom was ok, plenty of sachets and daily fresh towels. There was also a fridge which came in handy for the water storage.
Meal times were interesting, You find your own seats, even if its sharing a table with strangers, it was like an all you can eat buffet, very busy at peak times! the food was ok, a little bland for me, but there were quite a few choices. Brekkie was average, funny sausages and awful bacon. fried /scrambled /boiled eggs available, lots of continental choice. You have to queue at a coffee machine, although it was a nice coffee. There was always plenty of fruit available.
We went 15 - 19th October and I reckon the hotel had 95% of Spanish over 60's, 5% brits, It wasnt a problem, in fact it was quite refreshing not being the other way round!
Lobby is nice, you can pay for WiFi usage, I paid 4 euros for 3 days, but I realized that the code they gave me was the code from saturday - saturday. So big tip is to just pay for one day and keep using the code, if it stops working just buy another days worth which should cover you far about another week! This only works in the lobby area.
Getting to town was a 10 euro taxi ride of about 15 minutes, always a cab just outside the hotel.
We took a trip to Alicante, got the bus from the bus station direct, a return was 8 euros, it was a 45 minute ride, well worth the trip. (A taxi will cost you 75 euros each way!)

The main beach at benidorm is great for watersports, we took a guided jet ski tour to the island visible from the bay, then across the the whole length of the main bay area, 30 minutes was 40 euros - well worth it. We also spent 2 hours on the ski pulley system wakeboarding which was great fun for 26 euros.

The nightlife is well...an eye opener, We managed not to see the sticky vicky live show thank goodness!!!

Just back from a weekend trip in benidorm, stayed at the grand Bali for 3 nights arrived on Thursday until Sunday. There was 9 of us lovely ladies'we had 3room which were fine and big for us because we didnt spend much time In the rooms. The Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels everyday.we also had breakfast and evening meal.Food was great for both breakfast and evening meal something for everyone no matter how fussy you are and I am.Make sure you bring a beach towel because they are not provided for you.We travelled into old town benidorm each night for a bit of entertainment and entertainment we got.Plenty tribute bands in most of the bars and magic acts try and get to see sticky Vicky at least once while you are there.Drink and food are quite cheap there. Will go back again enjoyed every bit of it.Ideas a fair few reviews on the hotel and all i can say is go there for yourself and see how good it is.The hotel is about a 15minute drive by taxi to the main night life but it only cost 10 euro in a taxi not to expensive between 4.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better the view and try walking down at least 15 flights of stairs in the m...

First of all we had a lovely holiday.
We went on 5th Oct and all the places that you were supposed to get your all inclusive meals from were shut down apart from the outside bar where on the night you were left in the dark if you wanted to stay outside. the Spanish we found were not very polite especially when you are going up for your meals and they think they can just jump the Que.
You were only allowed 2 drinks(In Plastic Containers) at a time and the snacks were a bag of crisps or a thin sandwich and the paying customers were taken priority.
The meals were not to bad but we found they were mostly Luke warm once you found your seat and got your drinks.
we ate out more than had meals in.
The last night we were there we had to get up at 6am but there was loud music thumping away till 3am and really annoyed us.
The Hotel was very clean,
The room we were allocated was basic though and could have been better
The towels were changed daily the sheets every other day, i think..
The maids never mopped or swept the balcony,
If i ever went back it would be to another hotel and NOT all inclusive.
The beach was superb and really clean with only a few people on it and the walk to the levante beach was nice. you can get the No3 which takes the beach front route or the No2 bus which took you to the old town the on to levante side for only 1.5 Euro..taxi how ever was between 10 and 12 euro.
the tobacco was not that cheap either 69 euro for 10 50g pouches and in Belgium it's only 54 euro.
