“Best All Inclusive By Far!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2012

Please don't be put off by all the negative comments about this hotel. I have just returned from a 1 week all inclusive break and thought it was probably the best all inclusive hotel I have stayed in. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were large and very clean with maid service on a daily basis, food had plenty of choice and very impressed with the drinks which were mainly bottled and not watered down like many of the other all inclusive hotels.
Although the hotel is not in the lively centre of Benidorm there is a bus service which runs every 15 mins into the centre, the beach is a 5 minute walk away. During our stay we hired a car for 3 days and took ourselves off to Valcencia, Alicante and Benidorm Centre. Not to be missed is a visit to the spa with stunning views. Will defo be booking again soon :-)

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Bali, The hotel was clean, staff polite and food good. The hotel is away from the center of benidorm but we caught the bus into the centre for 1euro 40 each for a single, and a taxi is about ten euros each way.
We stayed in the tallest building with the glass lifts which were lovely to look out of. Our room was clean and spaicious with a fair size balcony wich had a table and chairs. the view from our floor 22 was lovely we had a beach view and could also look down on the pool areas which was nice.
We stayed b&b which was great, tea and coffee, all cakes, different types of bread with butter and jams, an optiion of a full cooked breakfast, bacon eggs, sausages hasbrowns beans etc etc.
My partner used the gym and i used the spa, jacuzzi etc which was lovely, there is a charge of 7 euros for the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and 6 for the gym. If using both you can pay ten euros for both.
I paid for the room safe which was 18 euros for the 4 nights which i got 10euros back on check out.
I really dont see how this hotel has gathered such negative reviews! I couldnt fault it at all, yes the hotel does mainly have spaiish residents but its in spain!
Hotel is about 40 mins from airport, i used shuttledirect.com which we paid 15 euros for 2 of us for a return journey which was fab as we were the 1st drop off and the last pick up, i highly reccomend this as a friend of mine has paid 60 euros each way to and from the airport.
Will definatley return to the bali as b&b only as there are such great restaurants in and around the centre of benidorm.

Room Tip: High floor so you get a good view accross benidorm,

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Bali, after reading most of the reviews we were actually dreading it!! However, we were all pleasantly surprised, impressive building from the outside. Check in was easy and Cedric was very polite and helpful. We stayed in the smaller building on floor 18 with fab views over the bay. Rooms were large and very clean, 2 showers, hairdryer and our beds were changed every day with clean towels. Beds were a little hard for me, we asked for extra pillows and they were in our room later that day. Restaurants were busy but we aways found somewhere to sit, food was ok, there was always a lot of choice. We never had to queue long for drinks and could get more than one at a time. It is in the old town of Benidorm with lots of spanish guests, we walked into the new town, took about 45 mins at a slowish pace, but a pleasant walk. We used the bus which is just around the corner from the hotel, it was 1.40 euro to the new town of benidorm. a taxi back from the new town at night was about 10 euros. One thing I would say is don't bother with the Benidorm tour bus, save your 9 euro's. This hotel does cater for the more elderly spanish guests, but dont let that bother you, entertainment catered for them, but we still enjoyed it all the same. I think some people just moan for moaning sake, your holiday is what you make it and we had a great time.

The Hotel Gran Bali has to be one of the better "all inclusive" deals that you can buy, DONT be put off by the ones that complain for the sake of it, of course there are one or two minor things that could be improved but overall it was great from day one. Clean rooms, towels changed daily and the staff are there to help you with a smile.Dont change your money there though you will only get 104 euros for £100.00 118 eurous if you change your money in town. The food was better than good and the drinks were plenty. If you cant get enough drinks between 10.00am untill 11.00pm then its not the place for you . We would stay there again, and well done to ALL the staff.

We stayed at the Hotel Gran Bali for three nights 25/2/2012-28/2/2012 all inclusive. The hotel is very impressive and spotlessly clean, the all inclusive drinks are very good (San Miguel lager rather than estrella). All inclusive drinks were served all day in one bar, and at 8:30pm was moved to a second bar where old time dancing was taking place - this appears to be the only entertainment in the hotel, as there is no quiet bar we would be driven out of the hotel, with nothing around outside the hotel open at night the only alternative is to make the 3 mile trek into Benidorm by foot/taxi/bus.

There is little choice of food and it is often quite cold, but we did manage to find something to eat each time over the three days - but we didn't particularly enjoy any meal.

The rooms as cleaned daily and were okay. The hotel mainly caters for Spanish as I would estimate that 80-90% of the guests were Spanish, although they appeared quite polite as did the staff.

We would not return to the Gran Bali, mainly because of the poor food for a four star hotel (more like 2 star food), and the distance from Benidorm which was much further than we had anticipated.

Room Tip: Try another hotel!

When we first arrived at this hotel it looked very impressive, the rooms were nice and very clean, and had good selection of TV channels. The down fall to this hotel is the hotel had a very cold atmosphere with no warmth in it. The pool area looked like a large concrete area, not appealing at all, bearing in mind it was february though it was very warm. The restaurant food was very catererd for the spanish, it was mainly fish every night, and the hotel was full of spanish people. They completely took over verything, the entertainment was for the spanish too. The location had nothing surrounding and was very cut off, so we used the bus service everday to go into the centres. The Bar staff and Reception werent very friendly. We were All Inclusive and we were only able to sit in one particular bar at night due to this.

I would not be going back to this hotel again

i was expecting a great holiday but didnt get it i was there the 21 feb 2012 till the 28 feb. the hotel was good but the beds were lumpy and the food was cold and not a lot of choice it was all catered for the spanish staying there which was most of the guests. i was all inclusive but the only snacks you could have was a sandwich or a bag of crisps which wasnt much as i couldnt eat the cold food. would i stop there again or recommend it the answer is no.
