This was my 2nd visit to the Rio Park Hotel, and there isn't a negative thing to say about it, the rooms are basic, clean and tidy. The food is good with plenty of choice, pool area is good. Can't comment on the evening entertainment though as there was plenty of that in the main town. Yes there were a couple of cats but they are actually timid and didn't bother with people!
While I was there, there seemed to be a mix of ages and not just senior citiezens, as a previous review.
Also, not once did I hear of any muggings etc on the 'yellow brick road' and we were walking back at 2.00 am most times!!! This is a good hotel, and guess that's why people return year in year out.More
