We've not long got back from here, we stayed 17th/26th april (9 nights) me , my partner & her son. We booked through alpharooms & arrived late (11pm)my partner had already rang alpharooms who said pick keys up at the marina hotel so we told the transfer coach driver thats where we wanted dropping off no problem he was going there anyway. We picked keys up (two sets) & walked the 5/10 mins to gemelos 26. We was given apartment 16c tower block 2, a 1 bedroom apartmant with 2 single beds in room & a pull out bed in living room. It was a decent apartment with everythink you need & a nice view overlooking benidorm. Next morning we had to go to the benniter office on calle ibiza about 10 min walk away, they wanted €200 deposit we give them £180 instead (it just works out better for us getting english money back on last day) we also give €22 for safe but you get €10 back as deposit. We paid another €22 for wifi code but their was a problem with that & never worked we got a refund no problem. The apartment is in a great position next to riviera hotel & facing uncle peds bar & is very secure you need key for perimiter gate aswell as tower block & your room. Their is four lifts which are great no long waits! The swimming pool is nice but always empty & no sunbeds! So you just thro your towel on grass at side only did this once we decided to sneak in hotel over the road & use their pool which was much more buzzing! We payed about £420 for the nine nights (thats not including flights or transfers) & in april (not high season)I'd stay here again so give it a go!
Excellent apartments large veranda great pool very close to all the nightlife but nice and quiet highly recommend spotless everything you need washing machine etc
Arrived on 2nd September. This is a 2 x 31 storey block of apartments and we got the impression they were both rental and residential. We were on the 9th floor and was met (eventually after quite a wait as he was dealing with other people) by the owner (I think) he showed up round the apartment which was really nice. I cannot speak for the decor in other apartments. I liked the fact it was very secure, you had a key to gain access to the complex, the building and of course the apartment. We felt very safe. Pool looked lovely and was very well kept. We didnt actually use it as we are not pool people. There are no loungers and there is a big sign with lots of do's and don'ts for around the pool. No Food, No Drink Np Diving etc etc, maybe thats why it was always practically empty. Value for money? Not sure. We paid 600 Euro for a weeks stay. Overall we were happy with the apartment and its location.
Firstly the review "awful " has the wrong apartment as we stayed in 19D from middle of may untill middle of June. ..zand properties let's this apartment..get your facts right. We have stayed in this apartment on many occasions among others from zand properties and found this and all their properties spotless on arrival..the apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday.
I have stayed in gemelos 26 four times i really live the security of the building and the appartments are so clean and very well equipted. Only problem i had was trying to hold the front gate open while trying to manoeuvre my mobility scooter in only for people coming out who helped me. Otherwise brilliant.
Just got back from a weeks holiday very disappointed no toaster no toilet paper there was broken glass in the kitchen. Mirror in the bathroom was broken. There was no sunbeds at all we were told we had to carry our balcony chair down. The pillows were stained really badly. Would not stay here again
We stayed in Apartment 10 Pool View CC, as the apartments have different owners my review is based on this.
On arrival we had to collect the keys from The Dynastic Hotel, no problems at all there and a brief walk to the apartments, just short of 15 mins. The apartments have a secure gated entrance and ours was in block 2.
The apartment was fab, spacious and well equipped, toilet rolls, bin bags etc, (wifi and tv is charged). The balcony was great, got the sun from morning and through the day, disappearing behind another block late afternoon. You could just about see the sea and it had a view of the amazing pool. Weirdly there are no sun loungers round the pool which is a shame because the gardens round it are beautiful and it would be a fantastic relaxing place to sunbathe. There is a heated indoor pool too which is in the gardens behind the block. Everything in and surrounding the apartment is well maintained and it's location is great for the bars and a walk down to the beach, also handy for the market which is Sunday and Wednesday mornings just behind the apartment grounds. Also as it is set back off the road it's really quiet (just unfortunate that we picked the days they were digging out the ground for a swimming pool at the hotel next door).
We were woken the first day by the owner Ben who arrived at 10am (we had been out to the small hours like you do in Benidorm but probably a good time if you're wanting to go out for the day) he took our ID and deposit which was €150, we gave him £140.
There was no maid service while we stayed, you can request it at €50 a time, it meant we had no room cleaning and the same sheets for the four nights we stayed, there was a washing machine but who wants to wash bedding when you're only in Benidorm a few days. The other downside was we had to be out on the day of departure at 10am, or pay €50 to have longer. We were out enjoying Benidorm till the early hours so a major spoiler having to be up, packed and out at 10am, he was there on the dot and it was a bit unnerving getting our last bits together while he was stood watching, he then checked round, gave us our deposit back and escorted us off the premises. What I don't understand is the apartment was obviously going to be empty the rest of the day so why couldn't we leave at 12 like hotels, and a big issue was there was nowhere to leave our bags, Ben said we could try asking at one of the bars?! Anyway we can still highly recommend these apartments should you get chance, they do get booked up,
