Having visited this hotel in Sept 2013 , we returned June 2014 for our third visit. The last time we visited we made comment about the reception staff , this time 100% improvement , the same gentleman who checked us in last year did so this year ,with a greeting and saying you have the same room as last year.(excellent).
We also made comment about the restaurant staff, they where far better this year. We were helped a couple of times by a young lady who appeared to be new ( sorry no name ) who was
excellent.
The lady who serviced our room was also excellent.
To the management of the hotel well done for the improvements. BUT you really do need some new carpets and a refurb in the bath rooms.
There has also been comment about the outside noise ,we had a sea view room and near the Daytona Bar no real problem on the balcony and in the room with the door closed nothing. As for the comments on stag parties outside the Spanish leave the British standing for stamina and noise.
Above all we had an Excellent Holiday

Room Tip: Do your home work and you can have a sea view and two balconies

We stayed at this hotel from June 20th to 27th, as it was our anniversary. We got a side view of the beach which was lovely. The location is perfect as it's across from the beach, but in my opinion, I would say that this hotel is definitely not a 4* I would give it 2*. On arrival, I thought the lifts were ancient. The lobby was small & not 4* to me! The male reception staff were ok but not 4* standard. The female reception staff were. The room was ok but could have been updated. The bathroom was "clean" but very dated & cramped. The bath was yellow, where you stand. The taps, I don't think we're cleaned, & very dull steel. As we were half board, I thought the food was ok BUT not very hot and dinner time was 8-10, which was quite a late start. The air conditioning was on in the dining room which made the food cold!! For a 4* hotel! you had to PAY for the WIFI!!!,which I think was a disgrace. Then there was the pool....there was only 31 beds for approx 200 people???? People were putting their towel on the beds at the side of the pool, for when the sun shone there, but were also putting them on beds facing the beach!!! & then heading off to the beach for the day!!! which was a disgrace as there was a lot of elderly people there. As we were checking out at 4am, after our dinner at 10pm, we informed the reception that we would be checking out then, and decided to settle our bill. We asked if there would be, maybe a croissant or scone available, and were told we should have informed them before 9pm if we required something to eat....so when we did leave the hotel at 4am, it was with reluctance that we got the bare cup of tea, the staff member, I thought, in my opinion, was very put out that he had to light the light in the dining room for the cup of tea! If I was going back to Benidorm, I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: If you want a sea view, you will have to pay €30 per night for the upgrade!!

Its a good hotel for its age.It does still have the feel of more eloquent older stye hotel, but lacks feel. its showing signs on the inside rather than outside in need of a fresh referbishment.and bright colours to get the feel of being a happy hotel. The room we were in on the 6th floor overlooked the sea front and to be honest it was well looked after by the cleaning staff daily, but lacked wardrobe space for us,and there was only the two of us.! As for the extra price for having a sea front room,we felt that paying £200 more rather steep for what we got.... even if it was right on the beach.

Nice hotel, but there were some issues with Satff at front desk. There was no problems with getting a sunbed, which we thought there may be.Nice area around pool, and quiet, although sunbeds packed in too close.I could hardly put a leg either side on returning to sunbed. We found the food quite repetitive, spanish based, and after a week, we were actually pleased we were going home instead of the 11 days we normally take in Benidorm

We have now tried three hotels in Benidorm. This one, as a hotel is very good, the great shame is that it is adjacent to a bar occupied in large numbers by British stag parties. They were continually very loud so tha the day was largely spoilt by the noise, the behaviour, the drunkeness added to by lewd behaviour including exposing themselves to women and children passers-by and collapsing outside the hotel being ill and blocking the pavement. The police arrived on occasion but didn't really do anything. Hotel staff said this is normal so a nice spot was ruined for us.

Room Tip: Do not pay the 30 euros a day for a promenade room as the view are lovely but that is where the horr...

The hotel staff are lovely, very friendly. We booked a standard room that didn't have a balcony so upgraded at a cost of €30 a night to a Promenade, sea view room with a balcony. The room was spacious the balcony overlooked the promenade, beach and sea. The hotel does not have double beds, 2 beds were pushed close together but still single beds, comfy enough. The room was spotless. The bathroom was ok, a bit tired and not enough shelves to stack the mass of toiletries we take but we managed. Plenty of towels and cleaned every day including Sunday. complimentary toiletries were shower/hair gel from a dispenser on the wall and a hand wash dispenser plus a shower cap. The fridge does not have a mini bar and the safe has a key €3 a night. The pool area is nice with showers, access to the hotel bar plenty of tables, chairs, shades. Sunbeds are very close together and the best spots are taken by towels early in the day. I thought the hotel could remove at least half of the tables during the day and have more sun beds as the tables are practically empty all day. They have pool towels at reception. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, we ate out during the day. Sunbeds and parasols on the beach are €4 each per day. Close to everything you would need in terms of bars, restaurants shops and a short taxi ride into the new town. Unfortunately we will not go back as the hotel is next door to the Daytona sports bar and magnet for every Stag party in the area. Starting at lunch time running into the early hours of the morning drunk Brits and Spanish alike spilled out onto the promenade. AC/DC heavy metal music with a chorus of loud and rowdy drunks singing obscenities blared out. Men were exposing themselves, running naked round the beach, throwing up and passing out in the street. The area was intimidating, disgusting and the promenade balconies had front row seats. We could not sleep for the noise and didn't sit on the balcony as the noise and behaviour was horrendous. We moved as far away from the hotel as we could in the afternoon/evening. These drunks didn't care about anyone around them, family's, older people, children were exposed to this mainly Brit outrage. Apparently, it is the same every weekend. We were there Thursday to Monday, unfortunately, so were the Stag parties. We are not prudes and I quite enjoy lively places, hence my many trips to Benidorm, but this experience was beyond the pale. I guess it might be quieter Monday to Wednesday. I also think the pool view rooms may escape the noise and the scenes played out by these yobs, but it would definitely avoid the promenade rooms, unless you are a Stag Party fan that is.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool and sea should be quieter than the promenade and You are less likely to...

Back again in May for a week and on arrival at Alicante, was slightly disconcerted at the number of stag and hen parties heading for the resort. Worried needlessly as we had a great time again. Even though there were at least three parties in the hotel we had no trouble.

Great variety of food and I do enjoy the Spanish dishes. The service was great and I have to mention in particular the Reception Staff; Melanie, Manuel, Antonio in the bar and Blanca in the dining room. The only exception as the chamber maid: although very efficient and kept the room pristine, she was grim, unsmiling and did not answer when you said "Hola". She really stood out from the others because of this!

It was so enjoyable, we've booked again to go back later in the year!
