We ,my wife and I have just returned from a week spent in the Nereo hotel in Benidorm , from the 25th June until the 2nd July. We booked this hotel purely by chance, as, we were unable to get in to our usual hotel. So it was with a little apprehension that we approached the Nereo.
The entrance to the hotel dispelled any worries. Beautiful and clean, a smile and welcome at Reception. We were allocated room 713 . The side which always gets the sun, facing the hotel pool. The room was very clean and tidy. amply furnished with wardrobes, bedside tables, two chairs, a table , and, a cupboard containing the safe and also a mini fridge. Very handy for keeping cold drinks. The balcony had a table two chairs and an ashtray. Best of all there was a clothes drying frame as well. The corridors were floored with laminate, and there were three lifts. The lifts were exceptionally clean
.The cleaners were dressed in white jackets and trousers. Towels changed daily , and sheets and pillowcases twice weekly. The daily cleaning was very good.
The bathroom had all the usual fittings and fixtures plus a Hair dryer , packets of shampoo and shower gel replaced daily , and also a rubber bathmat ,brand new wrapped in a plastic packet.
The restaurant was a surprise! White cloth table cloths, and proper serviettes also white.
The waiters wore black trousers, waistcoat and a bow tie .The waitresses wore black skirts, a white blouse and a loose type of bow tie.
Best of all were the meals. Superb. Artistically presented. and the variety and choice would please the most fastidious diner. All sorts of diets from vegetarian to diabetic , were catered for.
We stayed half board . Breakfast catered for the English breakfast as well a typical continental breakfast.
The bar was straight across from the lifts, with entertainment nightly. The pool area was kept scrupulously clean. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Although the Nereo only claims three star status, the facilities , and the standards applied by the management and staff show what can be done when it is done well and with enthusiasm and imagination. I would recommend
this hotel , to any one who is looking for quality at a budget price. There are 120 rooms over 10 floors . This hotel is exceptional, clean and quiet.
very nice hotel food great staff very nice pool very good .went monday to monday was glad when people above went .on saturday morning ( 4am )think i might ask for top floor next time.i have been in this hotel a few times and i must say this was first time i have been kept awake did not tell staff about this because t.hey would have moved me to another room i would have had to pack and unpack
Just back have to say one of the best hotels ive stayed in in benidorm. Rooms not biggest but spotless ,food good and restaurant not too overcrowded .Staff in all areas fantastic so friendly and hardworking will be going back to beni and would love to stay here again .
Stayed here a few times, cant fault it. Nicely situated, great staff, very clean with great food, pool terrace and nice rooms. What more could you ask for?
It opposite the market and very close to the beach. The decor is nice, not as modern as some hotels but it is and has everything you need. Its not too far from the Mundamar and Aqualandia
travelled 11th june.room on 9th floor overlookjng pool.good check in.room fine, fridge and safe[to pay for] 28euroes plus 10 deposit.food not always to our liking but the hotel has to cater for all nationalities.waiter in dining room had a bad habit of reaching across you to collect plates.bar ok but a bit .expensive.good turn on the night we stayed in but you only have to cross the road to find the same drinks cheaper.note bar closes at 1pm and if you are sat outside they come and pour your drinks into plastic glasses .i have been going to benidorm for 45 years ,and this was a first for me.i would go back as this hotel has more good points than bad
benidorm needs to take control of mobile scooters as it seems to be the in thing with the young people..
