This hotel was full of rude spanish and gave dirty looks to me and my boyfriend! especially when wearing a vest and shorts! The reception workers couldnt speak a word of english so they didnt provide any service to us which is annoying! Also didnt give us our all inclusive bands when we checked in we had to ask for them and ask for the card for electricity in the room! All inclusive was **** the food was disgusting dry chicken and chips and stale bread with no butter! Also no snacks during the day just food at meal times! Wasted our money paying for all inclusive because we ate there for one meal and that was enough! Didnt have one drink as the bar was in the basement and it always stunk! The whole hotel looks like its from the 60s and need knocking down in my opinion! Definatly would NOT stay here and regret spending money on the awful place that ruined my holiday! Also had to pay nearly 10 euros there and back to the new town just to drink in an english associated bar! Dont stay here it realy is as bad as it sounds and worse! I was in tears the first night after tea and wanted to go home!!!

We booked this hotel been told it was brill for children and all inclusive and unless your child is Spanish and not English you will not be able to understand what there saying when they played a game for children it was for locals also we was told we would have a family room but we had a double with four beds squeezed in with only two towels to share with 3 adults and a 10 year old a tiny single wardrobe and after a complaint was told no we won't move you it was a fire hazzard you had to climb over beds to move I'm pregnant aswel. Couldn't have balcony door open because there was a fish monger below and the room stunk of fish and so did clothes.. Food was same every day breakfast lunch and tea was all you got for all inclusive no snacks during day or ice cream for children only had on bar in the basement and the pool was on 7th floor on the roof.. If I could advise anyone about this hotel I'd say don't bother there's better ones closer and cheaper... Very disserpointed and had very upset child as there was nothing for him to do at all.. We had to take him out everyday the pool wasn't suitable for him and if you have smaller children there's no baby pool... If you stay here make sure you bring plenty of money because you will need it as you won't want to stay in your room or hotel its self.. I would score it a 0 on all accounts ..

We stayed at the Fleming for three nights and were pleasantly surprised at this hotel, as stated in other reviews this hotel is mainly for spanish people, but hey we are in spain, food was excellent, rooms clean, entertainment manager was excellent. Our only gripe was the pool on the roof with no bar, so you had to travel down stairs and a lift to a sub basement floor to get a drink also the all inclusive closes at 11pm, but you can still buy drinks to 12pm (very strange that) however they do let you stack your drinks up before 11pm. All in all i would rate this hotel as good

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at the HOTEL FLEMING, The first time in 2012 was full board and this year All Inclusive, I simpy cannot fault the hotel for the food, service and hospitality shown, yes the rooms are basic but you are only sleeping there..and if you are on a tight budget believe me you are getting more than you pay for, Everything is great,It is full of spanish holidaymakers but so what we are in there country after all,Some of them seem a bit aloof but most are very nice, They seem to like children much more than we do in this country, My 3 year old Grandaughter was constantly being fussed over, THEY HAVE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE BASEMENT BAR AND I RECOMMEND YOU GO DOWN AND THEY WILL INCLUDE YOU IN THE DANCING ...ALL IN ALL YOU GET MORE THAN YOU PAY FOR....IT IS A FAB HOTEL.....

Room Tip: Stay on the first floor that way you dont have to wait for the lifts XX AND YOU CAN BE FIRST DOWN TO...

Had mixed feelings after reading reviews but I must say they were unfounded, we found the all the staff friendly and helpful.
The food was plentiful and ther was something for everyones tastes.
We had 2 pensioners with us and the stairs were a bit of a problem but otherwise good for them,
Good location nr the old town & the beach.
Rooms cleaned daily and thorougly

We booked this hotel for an all girls 40th birthday break. Having read some of the reviews before we went we were more than happy with the hotel when we arrived. Excellent location, close to beach, old town and about 15 minute walk from the 'english bar area'. We found all the staff to be very helpful and polite. The rooms were basic but clean and tidy. For a 2* The food was well cooked and very tasty; excellent selection of fish. The majority of the other guest were Spainish but this was not a problem. The evening entertainment did cater for the older Spainish clientele, mainly ballroom dancing; however everyone was very friendly and once the all inclusive ended we would walk into the centre of town for drinks. The pool is on the roof and as the other review advised you do have to travel in the lift to the ground floor for drinks, not a massive problem - possibly some trays in the bar for the guests to use??? All in all great value for money!

Hotel Fleming is in old town Benidorm. It has alot of Spanish clients. The food was brilliant for a 2 star. The main fault on the hotel is that there is a roof top pool but if you want a drink you have to go all the way to bottom of the hotel. (7 floors i think i remember). The staff are ok - can come accross blunt. Rooms were really nice and had brillaint are con. To get to new Benidorm (where all the nightlife is) it is about 10 min taxi away which was approx 7 euros. Beach is about 5/8 min walk.
